That's 19 consecutive wins!
Elliott, 2nd SO, now 11-0.
Nice to see Cowan back in the lineup.
Dear Edmonton scouts, please attend more regularly... O'Reilly and Nichol had good games.
Canada's goaltending won't be an issue with George between the pipes...just outstanding. OS has some good young pieces in place for their rebuild.
Oh no, Sim suspended again after calling a teddy bear a "soulless beast".
Where's my drink?

Rebuild underway....check the roster for 16/17 year olds that play every game...now, compare that to the Knights....education is key

I thought they had some good stretches ( last half of 2nd) and have some kids that play hard.
Like the jam D Bedkowski plays with and a couple others also.

Elliott by far the best WHL goalie pick up for London since Dick H told the kids to bring Houle over :)

All 4 F lines brought value tonight. Good mix n execution.

Knights won 63.6% of the faceoffs tonight. Going into the Game they had won 50.4% and Owen Sound was at 50.3%

It may be a bit self serving, but I'm wondering how much this has to do with the recent talk on here about faceoffs? I had mentioned that the Knights may be better off to try Halttunen & Van Gorp more on faceoffs because of the higher percentages they had (albeit with low attempts)

Tonight Halttunen was 8/12, Van Gorp was 8/10. They were 2nd & 3rd respectfully in faceoff attempts tonight, and Van Bommel and Sim who were 4th & 5th on the team for the season only took 1 draw each (both won)

Going into tonight, Van Gorp was 8th in facoff attempts with 39, Halltunen was 9th with 28

Sure they are young and rebuilding but they are not a good team. Period. Can see it plain as day. Not the players fault, blame it on the personnel that built the team. No education needed.

This really feels like a team of destiny. Don’t mess with what’s working and make any changes. The team plays for each other and leaving well enough alone may be the best way to go. There would be great pride in the dressing room knowing management had faith in what they have and felt any changes were unnecessary.

Fans in Owen Sound, who watch this team daily are thrilled with what they are seeing...easy to pass judgment after one game...no one was saying that after the last three...education needed

For those that are all over me for no stats to compare with 05, after Halttunen was returned and we had our complete roster the knights went 46-17 average goals for 4.6 against 1.7

Tracking 05 as predicted, small sample size but they should continue to improve.

Very pleased with the how the team is playing. Even Sim lol. Montgomery is looking great and just added to the Knights impressive depth.
Only thing on my Christmas wish list now is Gibson. Our next Girardi or Graves.

Carter George just keeps building his game, damn fine goalie.

Elliot has been a revelation but that shouldnt surprise anyone who has followed Junior Hockey in the last few years.

Best hip check seen in several years goes to PJ Fagan. That was textbook.

Lastly, next time Saginaw visits London the entire rink should be lined with Teddy Bears to say hi.

To be 100% honest Ryder is a better all around players then his brother. I watched him the summer before the 2023/24 season and he stood out. He was not running around like he is now.
Funny you mention that as I am the first to admit I really haven’t watched either to intently as they get / got so little ice time. But when I wrote it I had this feeling that my first thoughts last season were that the younger was the better hockey player? Anyway if that’s the case to bad as right now with the talent depth on this years team I think he will find himself on the outside looking in fairly soon if he continues to run around.

Hey, you do you boo. What I saw was a bad team with a good goalie, but keep grasping at any glimmer of hope. Education completed.

Hunters won’t make a trade for the sake of trading. A lot of what can be improved on can be done internally (faceoffs, coverage, breakouts, etc).
I think that was Fagan’s best game as a Knight. Still a ton to work on but am happy for the kid.
Sim has played very well since his suspension. Hope it continues without dumb stuff.
Elliott and Medvedev should be able to get London through the season. Question is who takes the lead as #1?
Depth means you have good problems. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

They need to average 4.63 goals a game for the remainder of the season to match the 310 they got in 04/05.

The staggering # is that they need to average 1.06 goals against to match the 125 they allowed in 04/05

Agree on the stupid stuff but a lot of short term memory loss with Knight fans on here. Last years team had a very clear defining moment when it all came together. Sim returned from a lengthy injury absence and the team went on a tear all the way to the MC final. Sim for whatever reason is an incredibly important piece of Londons success!

He was great last year when guys were gone to world juniors. Need that even more so this year, especially 3 in 3 next weekend...back to back Spits, then Rangers....both those teams will pretty well have full rosters for those games.
D is my biggest concern with Bonk & Dickinson missing, but need Sim & Julien to show some leadership.

I wonder what the record is with Sim this year? Cause it’s true last year the record with him in the lineup was crazy good!

16 -1 This year with Sim in the lineup, the only loss coming on October 18th, Vs. Saginaw.

Compared to 7-3 with him out of the lineup.
