I love you Soo fans! I’m sure, Gibson wouldn’t mind at all if we take out Saginaw as well in the OHL Playoffs ;)

Gibbs is our missing piece and this year is different. Mark might pull a bit more of a trigger because this will be the end of the Cowan/Barkey/Bonk/Dickinson era.

If I’m Mark, I’m acknowledging that and realizing Gibson is the missing piece to the puzzle. All we have to do is somehow convince SSM that we are better suitors for Gibson than Kingston. I actually think that Luchanko and Allen are good targets for Kingston.

Is everyone going on the premise Luchanko will be in the OHL next season; or heavy conditions attached to Luchanko in a trade?

@tjziel is right. Luchanko probably out of London’s price range. And London won’t abandon the future by trading Hawery. Sure, next year is a sell year. Then reevaluate after.

Other potential targets not mentioned I could see in London’s price range could be Wainwright, McCallum, Hay, Bishop (if Saginaw sells), Petrovski.

Add in the one or two players none of us saw coming also as potential adds. (Lawrence, Graves, Watson, Larman as examples
........)
I think 2/3 targets (additions) are already identified n it's just dotting I's n crossing T's. Ill guess 2 additions.

Thoughts on jenken? Personally I don’t think this kid can be on the ice in a memorial cup, too many mistakes. Kid needs to go
Not too many 07’s will be playing regularly once the playoff’s start ….. Jenken will be fine….but who knows what management will do before the trade deadline….

I think Jenken’s been okay for his age. Fagan not so much. I won’t beat to death the need for defencemen but ideally you add 1-2 that knock others down the depth chart.

D12, what can you tell us about Finn Harding? I thought he might be a good addition on the backend to slot in top 4. A 2005 would be ideal, not looking at OAs.
I was kidding about the goalies, I'd like Medvedev for the wolves.
I like F.Harding a lot. He is an all-purpose all-star imo. I can't imagine what it would take to pry him from Brampton, maybe a 3-way blockbuster with Medvedev ending up in Sudbury :)

He's clearly better than either Fagan or Spencer, or maybe it would be more accurate to say he's currently above those two on the depth chart.

People have to remember that one playoffs come around, Dale only really uses 3 forward lines and his top 4 defensmen. The last pairing forwards and D get sent out at the end of the game or are strategically placed out on the ice when there is a good matchup where they won’t be a liability.

That’s why I am not worried about Jenken, Fagan or Spencer because they will barely be getting 10mins a night.

That’s why we need another horse on the right side. Someone like Andrew Gibson to shutdown the top lines and be a horse, then Brz and Jenken can be solid 3rd pairing defensemen.

Brz is a top 4 lock IMO (unless we get two D

Teddy Bear Toss goal...
I'll go with the mortal god,
Sam Dickinson.
Quite potentially the best D that we have seen wear a Knights jersey.

Is Mark in there just trying to drive up the price or is he serious about getting him?
