"Nothing is confirmed yet, and an announcement still needs to be made if Montgomery is indeed joining the OHL and London Knights. For now, this is all speculation."

……. I know it’s not “official”, there are three credible sources.
Montgomery himself has left the team and thanked the team and fans.
Jeff Marek posted about it, he would have checked his sources. Not one to post rumours.
Then Hockeynews writes an article, notice that they focused on the projected roster and the skills Montgomery is bringing.
Very little to speculate about.
If you want pure speculation (more educated guess)….. Halttunen must be on his way back ver very soon. Like very soon.
