I do not understand why the Knights let go of both Willmore and Leonard. Its my understanding that you can carry 4 overagers until January but are only able to ice 3. Hunter obviously could not find a dance partner to trade with and knows they will likley get picked up by another team somewhere rather then have them sit in the press box till January when it would be very hard to find a team.

Still haven't figured it out yet. It was never about agreeing with Mark or not, or posters being right or wrong, it was about publically embarrassing a player playing for your favorite team in a public forum. We all have eyes, but not all of us have big mouths or twitchy typing fingers that can hurt player feelings in public.

I think the only Hurt feelings are yours. People were just saying he was the odd man out. Pretty simple. Sorry your fragility was affected by this. Stay strong.

Do you think it may have something to do of working with players they have in their plans now, rather than working with players that won't be there to see the plans through?

Too bad but it’s a numbers game. Loved Leonard but I see why the staff did what they did. Hopefully Sim limits the shenanigans and sticks to being an effective player that we know he is.

Goalie cost was marginal. If it works out, great. If not, Alexei is next up or another acquisition could happen.

I always say development is first and foremost in this league. London being slightly older than most years has me thinking championship push again but I also hope the 07’s don’t get left in the dust. Staff will figure it out.

JMO....there will be some rotation in the bottom 6 as the roster sits now but Hawery will draw more than half the games. Just gotta ease him in while he learns systems. Kid has vision n talent.
I expect 1 F to be moved at some point to add a mid pick or 2. Maybe 2 Fs if a Euro shows up.

The D..... I agree with many here a vet physical stay at home would be nice.....I'd love a deadline deal like..............

He's on loan to the USHL just waiting for his visa from Canada. Atleast he's skating as he wasn't in Russia

I agree but it likely won’t be an overage. They need Liam Sztuska in net and they are going to go with two forwards as the other two. I think they will add a 18 or 19 year old defenceman to help with defence.

I would go with Bowen and Rye as your goaltenders, pick up Leonard (if he’s willing to report) and keep Melee and Lefebvre.

Splitting hairs because lines frequently change but from a depth chart perspective, I like Arrowsmith over Bidgood. Hawery over about three or four forwards there but Dale will be patient.

Very little talk about how well Van Gorp looks. Quite a jump the last 12-18 months for him.

Brzustewicz has impressed me. I think he will be the third defender that really starts to drive the transition game after Bonk and Dickinson, which is always needed.

Hoping Nurmi can soak up some of the missing goals from last year’s graduates.

No doubt it, Brzustewicz is no mistake, he's a development in progression, every year he picks up more confidence and does a little more, he may not be a first rounder in this year's draft, but will likely play like a top 5 in his final year of junior

Was he worth the assets we traded to get him? It’s hard to judge as we got Dickson (sp?) and Mete under similar circumstances and of course both of those guys were home runs? He almost looks like he needs to grow into his body a bit as he seems a bit “unpolished” BUT has all the tools be a true standout. Still loves how he stepped up on last years team and played forward.
