I think Mark and Dale are pleasantly happy of how the new defenders have played so far, especially the way Liam Spencer has been playing. The big strong stay at home 18 years old defenceman has been playing like a veteran, he's not your offensive D, but he's very dependable and because of his size he can be employed in almost every situation. I am sure it helps sealed Leonard'd fate, both Leonard and Owen Willmore have done very well for London and could have had another great season, but they were born one year too early to play for London this season, London's young developers and the excellent numbers of a new arrival goaltender forced them out, unfortunately for them, wishing both of them the very best of what their future can bring.

The Knights have had some success in the past bringing in goalies from the West, How can anyone forget Chris Houle, and Brendan Burke made their impact felt in London uniforms. Austin Elliott, welcome to London's House of Green. May your stay be one to remember.

For a goalie with that kind of numbers and experience, that is a decent price for sure. We were talking Carter George earlier with similar numbers but less experience, how much would he have cost the Knights to get him?
The cost to get George, if OS would even move him. Would be astronomical, granted you get more years of control with him.
I would imagine, if he was moved the deal would be 6-8 higher draft picks with at least 3 being 2nd's and then also a young player or 2.

So yes, for a 1 season go for it, this deal for Stone Cold Austin, if he produces results, looks like a hell yeah!

How did Barrie end up with this goalies rights?
CHL waivers. They are technically lower in the standings despite having the same 4-3 record.

Everyone is tired of the Knights always getting pieces for pennies on the dollar so the Colts thought they should just claim him so they could get something out of the Knights which isn’t a bad idea…

gaziov sent down to echl - I really thought he woulda made the A right away. Also I heard barkey is the new captain /co-captain. Which surprises me has anyone heard about this? I thought Cowan/oreilly woulda had the C.

Also I’m stoked we got a new goalie - let’s hope he’s a bit better then the last time we got a goalie from the W ;) (Brendan Burke)
Well looks like my source was right about Barkey being captain..side note I can’t believe O’Reilly didn’t get a letter..guess it’s really a good problem to have we could probably have half of this team having a letter! Haha they are all worthy !

The was waived Barrie was first team to claim him. If he dropped to London he would been free. But my guess is London had knowledge a team was going to claim him so they made a deal with a team before that other team
Anyone know what the waiver order is based off of?

Let’s hope he is not another Dylan Myskiw.
