This kid bled green and gold, part of the reason Hunter loves him so much.
And another example of why the Knights are a class organization.
True! Good character kid. Seemingly well liked in the room (was he the captain if this injury didn’t happen?!)

That return sure is going to upset some people considering what they paid …. Haha

Also, Beck to Saginaw is now official. So London can stop worrying about that.
Wow I’m surprised Beck didn’t go for more. Is Aiden Young the equivalent of the Knights giving up O’Rielly? (Plus the 3 picks).

Good for Crane, gets to play some meaningful hockey

Young, 16, is in his first season in the OHL after he was drafted 16th overall by the Spirit in the 2023 OHL Draft. The 5-foot-10 forward has a goal and eight points in 27 games this season.

Wow...just wow. Saginaw is making a run at this one thats forsure. Beck and Donavan.....the soo and Saginaw are going to be tough to beat.
Like all teams, they can only field 5 players plus the goalie at a time on the ice, who has the system with the best team execution will win. As many found out last year, this year has not changed any. Can a team of all star players be kept happy remains the challenge again this year

I am somewhat surprised how cheap Beck went for, yes Aiden Young is an 07 prospect but not proven yet, just look how much Soo had to offer. I smell politic behind the scene somewhere, it sure appears that way

Have to agree. Doesn't seem the 'London' type. Slow and clunky big body.
Rather disappointing TBH.
I know he didn't cost much but there had to be a better OA option out there.
I think he’s fine for the fourth line and third line depth if necessary. London’s fourth line has been awful before Sim stabilized things. Can’t see Dale using more than 9-10 forwards in playoff games anyway. Just always nice to have more depth.

At the speed of this game today, fourth line uses is a must just to keep up with the pace, if you are going to cut down time & space, got to have fresh players out there, Dale will use his fourth line

Maybe just frustration but a very disappointing trade deadline for the Knights IMHO. I know many are saying next year is a go-for-it season, but I heard the exact same thing last season. Next season isn't a guarantee, especially of some of the drafts guys we expect back end up sticking with their pro clubs in some format. In the Hunters we trust but sheesh!

Team avoids bad value deals (generally) this time of year. Make good value deals early (generally). And they still compete with the big boys, albeit not favoured. Example - beating a veteran Sting team but losing to a veteran Petes team last year.
If they emptied the cupboards more, you may have increased your chances of a championship in a minor way but definitely make the variance from good years to bad years larger which does not fit the business model of the Knights.
Sometimes I wish they were more aggressive at deadlines but I get it.

Last year we had to trust that by the playoffs Winterton would be in full form…. He was and we won the draft.

This year I wanted Hayes…. He came at a ridiculous cost.
