We needed a game like this. Tough night for the Fronts goalie. But their defence has also been horrible giving up several odd man rushes. And, what about that play where Edward is deep in his own zone and spots Julien behind the D, and fires the puck the length of the ice, Julien plays it off the back boards and scores? Where's the D?
Barkey and Cowan are dangerous SH...it's fun to watch. R. Boulton can sure throw them....Kingston player goes off for repairs.
Knights still taking too many penalties. As I type this with about 4 minutes to go in the third, the PPs are 9-3 in favour of Kingston...and whammo!.... just like that I once again refute the myth of "Friday night officiating" (favouring the Knights). For the record, those penalties were deserved.
Having said that, overall it was a good game...don't think anyone had a rough night in the green and gold.

Not Knights best outing, good that they get to have fun offensively thought. Play undiscipline too often like these last two games against better teams they will not be as lucky on the scoreboard as they have been last night and tonight.
I really enjoyed Johnston's goal, his reaction his smile and his rush back to centre ice to be first for faceoff told a lot about his joy of this game and of playing for London Knights. I hope to see replays of this little section on big screen often, it worth it

Good to see some of the 2nd & 3rd lines getting some ice time once this game had basically been decided. They need more of this, if the team hopes to grow some secondary scoring from within. This game was a confidence builder for those guys.
Also encouraging to see Haltenen getting a goal from the dirty area, and not relying exclusively on his shot. A willingness to go to that slot area will only serve to improve his value to the team, and also his NHL team. I liked Boulton's game from his first shift, and now it turns out there was more just like him, back home. Kinda funny watching Sawyer observing his kid brother scrapping, and showing his elder sibling how it's done, in this league.

Icing call on a PK was something new too.
I rarely talk about officials but that was a terribly officiated game. Same ref last year got in the way of players on a PP a few times lol. Do better, OHL.

Those were both pretty bad, however the worst gaff in the game was in the third, Kingston comes in off side, play blown dead however there is a scuffle in the corner to the right of Willmore. After they sorted it out, the linesmen forgot what the whistle was for and dropped the puck in London’s zone…

Very impressed with Willmore tonight. Tracked the puck well, great lateral side to side movement and didn't over-committ. For a youngster with limited game experience he showed confidence and poise. I like the goaltending duo the Knights have put together. On another note, hated to see Salajko hung out to dry by his team over and over and over again. Poor kid never stood a chance. But what's a coach to do in that situation? Keep him in and let him try and figure it out or pull him? Either way, the kids confidence is going to take a hit. I hope he bounces back. Every goalie in every league puts up a stinker every once in a while... Just too bad Salajko's was in his first ever OHL game.

> O'Reilly is really starting to come along. Loved him on the first line with Cowboy and Barkey.
> Too bad Gazizov's goal was called back on the offside. He worked hard all night and deserved to pot one. He really should shoot more, though, instead of looking to make that pretty pass
> Love the grit and sandpaper the Boulton (Bash) brothers bring. No team is going to push our top guys around with these two patrolling.
> Haltsy is a pure goal scorer but has to be a little more disciplined. I expect 50G from him this year.
> Julien had a great game as well. Probably one of the best games of his young career.
> George is just so consistent and a calming factor back in the D zone. A smooth skater as well.
> Dicky is a Stud... Plain and Simple.
> Barkey and Cowan are starting to re-kindle that magic they had during the latter part of last season and in the playoffs.
> Arrowsmith showed some glimmers.
> Leonard is slowly becoming a top defender on this team. Tough, consistent and seldom makes a bad play.

Maybe I missed it, but did Cowan play at all in the 3rd? I couldn't see him on the bench. Did he get hurt? Or am I just blind?
