He hasn’t been waived. It’s been documented in an article that he had an “illness”. Don’t listen to every rumour. I have no doubt he’s in Dale’s doghouse, but he hasn’t been “confirmed” as being waived.
You don’t think it’s possible that some here may know the real reason for not playing that the mainstream media won’t put out yet?

Logan Hunter only had a groin injury back in the day. Not a dui. According to the local news!

who's gonna score goals for the knights this year?
When Letang figures out he can pull the goalie when trailing before 10 seconds are left on the clock. Just teasing. 5-on-5 scoring is London’s achilles heel, no question.

Oh lord. What a terrible 2nd period. Lots of spectators out there. Some of these kids look lost (as well more than a couple of the veterans).
Not going to name names but it's clear who needs to go. Maybe the 3 in 3 is effecting them but cripes... Wake the F up!
Simpson trying to keep them in it but we can't even clear a friggin' puck.
No one is going to convince me that we don't need another forward or two that can put the puck in the net. Can't rely on only one scoring line. Shut that line down and we have nothing.

Not sure what that was all about. Poor penalty leading to a goal. Maybe London can split up their line drivers to avoid being a top heavy, one-line team. Maybe 7, 23 and 86 each on their own lines?
Sarnia has been working hard all season. Well-coached club that’s earning their wins.

I agree that we need another goal scorer ( or 2) but playing 3 games in 3 days is probably also catching up to them. They just might not have alot of energy left. Oh well, can't win every game

No you can't win every game but I saw a lot of spectators on the ice tonight for London.
Some of these kids just aren't ready for primetime.
Even a semi decent effort by the 3rd and 4th line make this game winnable.
And the coaching wasn't that great tonight either. To allow goals seconds after cutting the deficit to one, not once but twice! Can't happen.

Yeah, obviously a tired bunch especially in the 3rd in a 3-in-3. But, Sarnia played well, and deserved the 2 points. I thought their goalie played well. These games don't worry me at all. When you're well rested, and you lose to bad teams (and clearly Sarnia does not fall into that category), that's what's a kick in the nuts.

Mhm. I actually like this goalie for Sarnia more than Gaudreau. Good asset mgmt by them.
White clothes outplayed green clothes. White clothes deservedly won. There are always positives. O’Reilly is legit which is sorely needed on this club. Rest and practice up!

I've got on good record he's been waived. Waiting for another option (in this league or not) to play

I think a good move to make would be send McCue to Peterborough to play with his brother, and get Beck. I realize we’d have yo add to the deal, so add picks or a young player to make it work. I really think we need to upgrade our OA skaters, maybe just one. I know the Knights scored a ton last night but you’re supposed to do that against a team like that. Until I see a 5+ goal game against a top team, I’ll continue to think a scorer needs to be added if not two.
The Petes are not looking to add an overage player as they already have four. They will be looking for a good young a player and draft picks in any deal for Owen Beck.

Cowan & Barkey are electric. Need to add some depth tho cause those poor kids will be toast by Christmas playing as much as they did tonight in the 3rd of a 3in3 haha.

O'Rielly is a stud. If a team gets thru u guys come playoffs I like the chances of the team that'll play that team, haha. Boulton's/McCue/Sim/Leonard will have teams limping. Still the team to beat come April. Best of luck & hope Dale is alright. Never not seen him behind the bench.

5-3 loss to Sarnia

Give credit where credit is due, Sarnia played a well prepared and organized hockey game and are deserving of their win over London..

We could as easily blame this lost on 3 in 3 nights as excuse but i am doubting that, they've played them before and came out on the good side many times, beside they were skating strong in the third. I'd like to put it on the previous high scoring game syndrome. How often do we see lousy games after a previous high scoring game, it;s junior hockey and their young minds have not seen it all yet. But coaching staff should have seen it coming and warned them, I could be wrong but this is what I think happened. IMHO

Knights seemed to get within a goal then would relax sarnia come down and answer quick happend a few times few guys had a bad game. This team truly lacks a leader someone who can rally the troops. Because last night they just looked lost and frustrated. Btw how annoying is the sarnia "YUUUPP" 🙄

It's funny you say that after a loss, after their Friday night 8-1 win some on here were saying this team has several leaders. The difference it makes one day one game later. I for one don't think all these Friday leaders have all packed up and left

"how annoying is the sarnia "YUUUPP" -That's the idea isn't it ? Cheers !

After Friday I don't think anyone came out and said a leader or leaders had emerged. Just that many of the guys played extremely well and not many negatives to take from that game. I see George and Dicky eventually emerging as the 'leaders' with Dicky being the vocal one. But regardless, too many of the high-flyers from Friday night were pretty much invisible last night.
Even Cowan, who had had a heck of a return in his three games back, lost his cool for no apparent reason other than a Sting player getting under his skin. That just can't happen in a tight game when you're playing from behind. For the Knights to go as far as we want them to go this season, those 3rd and 4th line players really need to step up and put some pucks in thr net when our 1st and 2nd line guys are struggling to score. Last nights game was all the Cowan Barkey line with very little impact from the bottom half of the roster. Can't have that.
