London Knights 2023-24 Season Thread (Part One)

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version. Click Here for Updates

Someone has got to install jet engines on player skates before game starts !

The Knights lost this game in the first, the Battalion came to play from first faceoff, Knights didn't. Once you are behind by two early in the game against a good defensive minded team the chances to catch them on the scoreboard are slim. This Knights team has better skaters than what they have shown us this early in the season. Still have lots of confidence in them but they need to start playing 60 minute hockey or the confidence will evaporate fast.

They lost it in the first. Uuummm ya, the only period NB scored in, minus the freebie at the end which made no difference with no tender. TY lol.
And it had nothing to do with no jet engines lol.
Are you calling out an error, mistake, shortcoming of the team, period, players, or plays? The team not being ready?
Like you jumped on someone for last week with a cheeky comment/post response about a 1st period goal n they never mentioned a player........... but only said the staff would go over it with the players n video;) Intetesting. But carry on.

Without naming any players, I have observed one team making many errors early on in the game, one of the error was a lack of skating speed by the team. Coaches know who they were on the team and I am sure they will work with players to resolve this one of many other problems fairly soon. Cheers!

It’ll be resolved tomorrow

It’s stupid, but I expect a multi goal win tomorrow
