Fastpace was 27 months away from this forum without commenting on any post and only got back to posting again 7 months ago. Anyone in contact with Fastpace will tell he despise personalisation of players and posters and is 100% about open & honest communicating. All opposing posters are always welcome but is dead against making up stories. Making up stories is not part of of open & honest communication. Cheers !

With so many good D man does it make sense to trade 1 for picks to use at trade deadline? Injury's happen but someone like Edward or Leonard would bring healthy picks.

Idk. I feel like they will want to keep it as is… unless someone wants more playing time?
I think Mark would do right by Jackson Edward if he wants out to develop more. He would be a top 4 defenseman or even top 2 potentially on other teams. That actually might help him get a contract from the Bruins but I think Edward would want to stay to be a part of a Championship team. But at the end of the day, Mark has the final say.

Yeah they are the physical presence back there. Mackinnon brings a lot of intangibles also. Shot blocking, just a steady eddy if you will…

Because there Are 2 games this weekend early in the season and Owen needs games and the hunters usually start first one on the road. He did well against a good Soo team. They are good so not so much we didn’t show up. Good road game and a few lessons learned but also a point

Was not a bad game against the Soo.
They played well defensively I just wish they'd show more urgency in their skating. I mean they had four break away (including OT) on all of them they were caught up from behind and no good shots were taken. Feet got to move a little bit faster, with that said, every time you need a shootout to to get a winner the game itself couldn't have been that bad.
And yes Soo's Ds played really well
