London Knights 2023-24 Season Thread (Part One)

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Right thats why it says unless he gets signed at Christmas by Chicago and assigned to London.....
 
This is a first in a long time !

London is not playing in the Soo on the back-end of game three of a three game weekend,
The Greyhounds looks to have a powerful offence this year but are not as strong on the backend, if they stay close and whole them to three or less against, London should be able to take the two points.

The Soo have a very talented backend.
Wish London drafted and developed their picks more consistently like the Soo the last 10 years. London really need to stop handing scouting jobs to people because of whose back’s been scratched. There aren’t many problems with this org but this is one of them.

Our back end is pretty strong this year. Probably one of the top in the league tbh.

Should be a good game. Looking forward to it

Let me repeat what was written in the post "The Greyhounds looks to have a powerful offence this year but are not as strong on the backend," Does a not as strong Backend as of a great offence mean weak defense or does it mean not as powerful as the offence??

The poster n post you responded to.....your reading too much into posts and attacking. Or is it that a SSM fan disagreed with your assessment of their team?

Haha I should know better. Last time I commented on something in the knights thread he literally told me it's not for me to be here. That was last year or the year before.

I really like it when opposing fans come chat on the soo boards. Love to hear the different views and opinions of our fellow fans in different cities. I hope you guys keep coming around. Keeps it interesting. I usually have great convos with knights fans and lots are really knowledgeable and inviting, I really don't know what I did to this dude lol.

Anyway, cheers knights fans. Lets hope for some exciting hockey tonight. Got yerself a nice looking team again. Hoping to make a game in your barn this year.

It is game day! I do hope the practice time this week has helped gel the boys a bit. Let’s hope the offence can get going a bit
