Just something on Max Mews

“Dax Kenney (88th) & Max Mews (99th) fit under a similar theme of players I really liked in the early days of the season but missed considerable time this year. They looked great early, and considering how much time they missed, they performed well in viewings at the end of the season. There are certainly players whose whole body of work this season is greater than these two. Still, given how strong they looked after missing tons of time, I'd be kicking myself if I left them off my list and they continue to develop into the quality players I think they can become. They are likely players who go later than I have them, but they're two players who could be solid gambles to outperform their draft slot.“

So he likely could have been a 1st or 2nd round pick if he played the whole season:

1000% agree. The immediate attempt (mccue) did not go in....no goal.
Mccue attempt wasn't the immediate opportunity it wasn't an attempt at the net (no shot on goal). The puck bounced straight to Barkey he puts it in its a good goal period end of story

I'd dress a 7th D to replace SoR. Move VG up a spot or rotate players onto the 3rd line.

2 game suspension.....no biggie and probly fair call with how the game is officiated and players are disciplined.

The "goal"..... I can appreciate why people are sitting firmly on one side or the other. Is what it is thou, no use whinning about it n crying foul. Leave that to the ex media types ;)

Rangers only dressing 5 D? Gotta think Motew is the one they are going to attack based on last game (and last playoff meeting)
Be nice to get outta today up 2 and if anyone who feels the need to cross a line and take a suspension, do it today so your likely back next rd lol. :) Play nice kids.

Hometown kid Seth Coomber goes to the Knights. He’s work hard his whole life to get to where he is and congrats to him for being drafted by the Knights.

Won’t wow you with skill but he works hard and has an edge to him.

That's a joke it was shoulder to shoulder not Sam's fault he was looking at the puck this league is softer then...insert your adjective here......
Even thought, Oreilly was careful and his skates toes were pointing inward showing he slowing down, he did blind sided Savard near the board, very dangerous move. The hit itself came shoulder to shoulder at the very last split moment, Savard never had a chance to see him coming, he was looking out for Sim as he too was coming along the back board behind the net. I think two game is fair, Sam is no dirty players, everyone recognizes that.

Knights just drafted pat maroons kid. Sneaky pick imo
Is this really Pat Maroon's kid?

Interested in the goalie pick out of Leamington. Gatto is an 06 and was added to NHL central scouting lists earlier this year.
One Player who i am looking at a team taking a late round flyer on is 2006 Born Goaltender Sebastian Gatto, Gatto from Troy,MI Usa, Playing this season for the Leamington Flyers in the OJHL (.928 Save %.. GAA 2.23 17-9-2) has been outstanding, I would expect being American & given the age he is hoping to go the NCAA route but a team like say London. Who has a goalie graduating and can usually convince these players to commit could take a chance on Gatto.

Commented this back on April 4.
Absolute steal of a pick if London is able to get him to report. Would be able to come in and play at this level without a doubt.

It's not blind siding though he hit his shoulder to shoulder Savard was looking at the puck that's his fault. This league is so reactive its a joke
