Saw him play he was lights out definitely a late bloomer. Good on the kid proving hard work pays off

From what I saw last year, I would say Gatto is a step above Finn Wilson and Alexei Medvedev. Medvedev being 17 next season and a 2nd round pick is almost a lock to be on the team. If Gatto decides to show up, there would be a great battle between him, Wilson, & Willmore for the other spot.

Pat Maroons son WHAT THE HECK!?!?

I did some digging into Anthony to see if he actually has a chance to play in this league or if this was a favor pick. Elite Prospects shows 16 pts in 11 Highschool games, with 12 points in 12 T1EHL 15U games. Unfortunately they don't give the 15U AAA numbers. I found 21 of 56 game sheets, in those 21 games he had 15 goals and 8 assists for 23 points. In 56 games I'm assuming he was around the 60 point mark.

Beckham Edwards had 97 pints in 64 gp. (46th overall pick) Max Brocklehurst led the league with 154 points in 58 gp. (57th overall pick). Jacob Monks also had 87 pts in 64 gp. and the knights selected in in the 5th round. Anthony might have a genuine chance in 2 years.

I doubt it, Pat would have had to use a different stick for that

Totally different side...net would stay on if Parsons would stop using his shoulder to push it off.

Some goals against, the opponent makes a good play, some goals you gift them. The first Ranger goal......Cowan a soft dump in attempt gets blocked at blue line, Gaz makes 2 soft attempts in 1 on 1s ( one their side of centre one at Knights blue line.)
Lack of effort GA would drive me nuts lol. But it happens. Need more urgency. ( I'm only at 10 min mark as I couldn't use my seat today)

Couldn’t agree more. Unfortunately, happens in junior hockey. Dale will clean it up as much as he can.

Pegs are not what they used to be for player safety and that's a big advantage to the goalie....some use that advantage more then others.

You don't typically see the same officials work an entire series in the second round in the OHL

I still find it a bit nuts that Max McCue wasn't signed by SJ. Columbus got a stud for free.

I could see him in NHL games next year.

Don't misunderstand my statement I like that we get the call right (ok maybe not in the end?). However I don't like playing for 30 seconds, scoring a goal and disallowing it because it was offside? Taking the goal away, putting the time back on the clock and replaying that 30 seconds seems odd to me? I think if they can't do it better (I'm not sure you can?) then disallow the offside challenge. Can you think of something similar to this in any other sport?
