Otto, Perhaps my math is wrong but I am calculating an increase of 5.9% based on an adult ticket. The average annual increase for adult ST from the 2019-20 to 24-25 season has been about 4%
Last year with tax I payed the early bird price of $805.70 for 1 seat. This year with tax it's $882. That's a 9.5% increase.

In 19/20 I paid the early bird price of $663. Thats a 33% increase from the 24/25 pricing.

Pretty sure those numbers are accurate, although I may have disguised part of the cost in my budgeting program in order to throw off my wife, but she never looks at it, so I don't think I did 🤣

Hmm. This year my early bird is $774 tax incl. Last year it was $731. i am in upper bowl so maybe that has something to do with it lol

At this stage, there are no easy opponents from here on. Just gets tougher.

Toronto, Ont. – The Ontario Hockey League today announced the rosters and schedule for the 2024 OHL Development Combine presented by Dairy Farmers of Ontario which takes place April 6-7 at the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa, Ont.

The event offers 77 players (37 forwards, 24 defencemen, 16 goaltenders) the opportunity to showcase themselves both on and off the ice to OHL member team personnel. Sport testing results will be distributed to every OHL member team General Manager to assist in their evaluation for the OHL Priority Selection to be held on April 12-13.

“The OHL Combine offers aspiring players a unique opportunity for personal development,” stated Brodie Barrick, OHL Director of Recruitment and Player Services. “By conducting skill assessments, we identify both on and off-ice strengths to help players achieve their peak performance. Simultaneously, the games provide an additional platform for players to showcase their abilities, setting the stage for the upcoming Priority Selection.”

So I'm watching the Kitchener/Erie game and no joke they played the game 7 OT Winner from 2022......
Time for some new material.

We definitely live rent free in their heads 😂🤣

Even more funny it was pointed out by the pbp guys that Kitchener was doing a great job in holding Erie to 5 shots so far, btw at that time the shots were 5-5 . Not sure how they figured that one out.

Congrats to the boys 4-0 means we get a bit of rest .... Gaz needs it so well done. I know we all would love to see them win 12-0 each game but of course very few (even elite teams) achieve maximum output against a significantly inferior opponent. Credit to Flint Londons press clippings didn't strike fear into them at ALL. Now not surprised at all as Dale is pretty consistent in the way he plays his "main man" but would have liked to have seen Wilmore for Game 4 just to keep him "game sharp". Wilmore imo is not a huge drop-off in quality this season so if Simpson struggles you could confidently put him in when the big series are happening. But overall Cheers to a job well done, 4 down 12 to go for our OHL Title.

Well at least they're more current than Windsor....they're still showing conference win over London from 2009 every time the Knights play there. 😂😂

Crazy actions in Kitchener, Gaudreau is hot in a 2-2 overtime game, it's wild actions
Kit scores a weird one to win. I tell you....the future is bright in Erie. They look great and will only be better next year. We're they not picked to finish dead last this year. Someone needs to remind them that because they play like they don't believe that. Looking forward to watching game 6 on Tuesday.

Stan Butler has proven his abilities to head an OHL franchise, not only can he pick talents for his team, he also pick the inside of their heads to go along with that talent. Behind Mark Hunter, Buttler is second best at this. IMHO

But isn’t there a closer U16 program?
Lol. Nothing is close. Close doesn't really matter when you have to move cities, high schools, get accommodation, etc. You look for the best fit.

I suspect they are happy with their choice. As we speak, PPE is heading to the semi finals in the national championships in Fargo, North Dakota. Big game coming up at 11am today vs. the Long Island Gulls. Other semi is Mission vs. Shattuck.

Have dates for games one and two in London been ironed out yet?

Farwell mentioned post game last night that he expected game one vs London would be on Saturday. There’s a Lightning game scheduled on Friday but nothing on Thursday.

Unless the dates have already been finalized, if the Rangers win on Tuesday, don’t be surprised if Games 1 and 2 are Thursday, Saturday.

It’s the home team’s call.
