What an advantage to get the 1 seed. Saginaw and Sault St. Marie will be a war. Whomever comes out of Kitchener-Erie will be tired and overmatched.

Let's be honest.
If any other fans outside of the Knights had the #1 Team in the O,
they'd be singing the praises of that team and specifcally the hard work of the players to be at that level. Unortunately there are some on this site who have not played much hockey at all and only see negativity. It's funny to read those kind of comments.

London comes out of this series unscathed

It was a hard fought 4 games with lots of speed and some good hard hits at times, but not too excessive. Flint were the perfect match for the Knights to start a long run of playoff series. They can also hold their heads up high, they have given their all.

I actually did not think they played that bad tonight at all. A little Sloppy at times but tonight's game was a bit better....they seem to not play up to their standard when it's against teams they are supposed to beat. This team will tighten up. Watching George out there is an absolute pleasure. To me right now he's head and shoulders obove anyone else. Also was great to see Sim pass off an easy empty netter to Barkey....sharing the wealth as he already had a goal tonight.

Game 6: Tues., April 9 – Kitchener at Erie, 7pm

It would start no sooner than the 11th regardless if every series was a sweep. Every playoff round is 2 weeks.
That said, the series will start on the 11th or 13th as the 12th is rounds 1-3 Draft night and the Bud is already booked. I know London would love for it to be the Thursday to capitalize on a potential 3 in 3 for their opponent but I doubt the league approves that. Most likely the 13th and 14/15

Bud Gardens is booked next Friday for the lightning. So I think we are looking at either Game 1 Thursday the 11th and Game 2 Saturday the 13th. Or Game 1 Saturday and Game 2 Sunday the 14th.

They might factor how many games Erie/Kitchener go in Round 1, if they go 7. That is tough to put them in a back to back with Game 7 Wednesday. Just my guess!



Alsooooo I think it is funny how on X I saw a bunch of Rangers fans throwing shade at Pyette for picking the Otters in 7 in his predictions. Even if he ends up being wrong, I think the Otters are showing he wasn't terribly far off, like they were all suggesting, be interesting to see how it all plays out, as we sit and wait!

Game 6 of that series is Tuesday. Very unlikely they would make them go 3 in 3 in the playoffs. If it goes 7 the series will start Saturday, if it goes 6 then probably Thursday

They need a travel day in between. League won't let them schedule that knowing the logistics of the traveling team and also the fatigue is a big advantage for the host. I think we saw this a few years back when a team tried to schedule the next night and the league said no.

Otto, Perhaps my math is wrong but I am calculating an increase of 5.9% based on an adult ticket. The average annual increase for adult ST from the 2019-20 to 24-25 season has been about 4%

GAZIZOV BACK:
Russian forward Ruslan Gazizov made his series debut after returning from a lower-body injury. He limped off in London’s second-last game of the regular season against Windsor and missed four games.
Instead of reuniting him with Barkey and Easton Cowan immediately, Dale Hunter shuffled up the lines to create more balance.
“Just to give it a different look,” the head coach said. “I thought with Ruslan, I didn’t want to put him on the top line yet because he was hurt. Get his hands going again and thought I’d split Barkey and Cowboy (Cowan) up and spread it out.”
There was no chance Gazizov could play in the first two games in London. He started skating, had some good practices and went to Flint Tuesday. His status was still questionable and the team opted for a conservative approach.
“When he’s in our lineup, our balance fits properly,” London associate GM Rob Simpson said. “He brings skill and he has been great on the power play.”
