I haven't seen this posted here yet, but I recently saw this picture of the new scoreboard. Can't wait to see it in person!

Thanks I have been looking everywhere for a picture of it.
Not quite as large as I expected after the interview with OES

“It’s the biggest one that we’ve ever done,” said Chris Milne, mechanical designer at OES Inc., a London-based scoreboard manufacturer.
“(The arena) wanted it to be as big as it as it could be,” Milne said, describing his objective to “maximize everything” while adhering to size and weight restrictions.

Weighing in at around 5,440 kilograms with a wrap-around surface area of 132 square metres, Milne said the board is “unique” for both its size and an enhanced video quality."

According to their website OES does 33% of NHL score boards including
  • Chicago Blackhawks (United Center)
  • Dallas Stars (American Airlines Center)
  • Edmonton Oilers (Rogers Place)
  • Florida Panthers (BB&T Center)
  • Nashville Predators (Bridgestone Arena)
  • Ottawa Senators (Canadian Tire Centre)
  • Philadelphia Flyers (Wells Fargo Center)
  • Pittsburgh Penguins (PPG Paint Arena)
  • St. Louis Blues (Scottrade Center)
  • Toronto Maple Leafs (Scotiabank Centre)
  • Washington Capitals (Capital One Arena)
  • Winnipeg Jets (Canada Life Center)
+ a bunch of NFL and NBA teams.

Maybe its a funny angle, but it doesn't seem like its THAT big?

For sure! I was kind of expecting a bit bigger, something more like in Tampa Bay with the way that article described it. But, if you look at the ice as perspective, it appears to cover most of the neutral zone, from blue line to blue line and is bigger then circle in width.

I am thinking, once we see it in person, it will be much larger then the picture is showing.

If Gazizov is available for a late draft pick I'm snapping him up quickly. It would help Romano's development to play with an older skilled player.
He would fit well on Kitchener. We shall see how it shakes out cause he’s a solid player

Why is it a hold up for the roster?
The optimistic side of me hopes they pulled a big US player and are waiting to announce it. realistically they are probably just busy and/or waiting to see the outcome of some free agents from other camps.

Expect to see some "local" guys drafted and released by other OHL clubs at camp in David Brown (Saginaw) and Chase MacQueen Spence (north bay). Both had short OHL cups of coffee.

Cowan and Barkey won't be suiting up for camp is what I heard to

Interesting about Barkey and Cowan. What about Dickinson and Bonk?

Curious to see what Brown and Macqueen Spence bring to the table. Hard to crack this lineup
