Connolly is being Pejorative Sluredly underrated around here. Obviously he's not worth 5mil a year but what else are we going to spend that cash on? He's a good player and is a great defensive forward. He's a lock to be on the shutdown line imo

Side note: It's great to think that our first reaction is to sign into hfboards and let other people know; it's a great fanbase. Don't let people say otherwise.

Good question...does anyone know? Hopefully it will be PHO takes the cap hit, but the new CBA allows for monies to be exchanged to facilitate trades like this (ie rich team trades to cap floor teams). But this needs to be confirmed or corrected.
 
There it is. Burke out and Lombo shortly after. Coincidence? Liles, Komi or Connolly next, if they can get value back.

Even though the conditions have already been stated (3rd if he re-signs with PHX), these conditions that you listed are impossible (or next to for the latter) in a shortened season. :laugh:

Sadly Connelly has shown NOTHING to convince us that he still can play in the NHL, let alone be worth one quarter of his salary. He's made of glass, and when healthy shows nothing but indifferent play.
 
Great for Lombardi also. He'll probably have a nice season in PHX and earn a better free agent contract, a lot better than playing bottom six minutes in TO.
 
Either a 3rd or 4th is an absolute steal for Lombardi. He should have had negative value.

I know I'm in the minority but I'd love to see Colton Orr back in our lineup. Would really help to get some of that grit back.

Lombardi provided nothing. Absolutely nothing. At least Orr's presence would put some fear into some guys.

The sad part is he is one of the top 5 players on the team capable of some offence,
