Good. While I think Lombardi could bounce back, we needed to clear a few roster spots up front and he was the clear candidate to go out the door.

Great if it's a 2nd, pretty mediocre if this is a 4th or later.

It's just great that we get a chance to see a budding player in a position to succeed rather than wither away in the AHL.

Excellent. Only so many vets with soft noggins they can carry. Any time you can drop the worst minus on your club you gotta feel good. I wish him well because I did like his game when healthy and I don't think he was ever all the way back as a Leaf.
Opens up some ice time for a kid!
