They didn't even mention Lindstrom as an option on the right side.

Clearly completely forgot about the poor guy.
Regrettably, he is pretty forgettable.

The kid needs reps...no rush
Unless this kid took a magic 'Defensive Acumen' pill in the off season, he's headed for Laval and properly so.

Kanata ,ON
His shot will have absolutely no bearing on whether he is called up or not. Having a big clapper is just sprinkles on the cake.

Besides....you know the first bomb he unleashes will find a way to Gallagher's hands.
His wrister is just as good, his one-timer too, his shot really is NHL caliber all around. That alone won't be enough to make it obviously, but it's great to have a true plus tool in your arsenal.

Depends on how much PP time he'll be getting. His shot is so good that I can see him getting a lot of points there the moment he'll get comfortable. He loves using it too, he got 10+ shots a game regularly with London.

He definitely did not do that regularly as 4 shots per game is elite, but I agree that he certainly isn't shy about shooting the puck.

Mailloux took at least 10 shots each game but few got through to the goalie. He’s high, wide and wild. Mailloux may have a 100 + mph slap shot, but unless he gains a measure of accuracy, Gallagher won’t be the only player whose career will be put in peril.

They were saying on 690 today, if he has good camp and team has an injury or two he could make the jump. Straight from junior. Like Wifi last year

I don't understand this. If Mailloux’s defense is as poor as advertised, why on earth would they even entertain the thought of bringing him in the fire?

He's almost certainly not on the starting 8 or so, but strange things will happen if there are the typical numbers of injuries.

Like Mailloux get some experience in because Habs likely spoting 3 rookies on blueline next season. Mailloux, Reinbacher and Hutson. Guhle, Barron and Wifi all 21. Not veterans

Hutson doesn't have a NHL contract, yet.. and I'd be surprised if Reinbacher or Mailloux starts in the NHL next month. Reinbacher has, at least, some pro experience.

This.

Definitely felt like and looked like the Habs rushed Slaf. They need to realize that kids aren't ready for the NHL, even if they're drafted 1st overall.

If the player, like Bedard is destroying a league and can't really go to another, then sure, but when a player like Slaf can go back to a pretty good league, or like Reinbacher... SEND THEM BACK

The second coming of Gaston Gingras. Every Hab would sprawl the ice whenever he shot. Lots of power, zero accuracy.
