Where did i say that? I said most of them are not really good. There's something between good and bad.
You are right. I'm sorry, you didn't say that. There are definitely more than 3-5 good GM's in the league.

It pains me to say this, but I have to agree with bergevins assement on beaulieu. He was given a great oppourtunity to prove himself this year, but he fell flat on his face.
I still feel he can be a top 4 guy but he has to show that he wants more than every 4 games or so.
So in resume, everything is tough. Picking low won't make us get good players unless we are lucky. So signing Price (which means NEVER being able to tank), admitting that everything is tough to get, admitting that picks won't come and save us, MEANS that we are going to be average for the next 8 years.
And that the ONLY thing that would make us great are bounces and luck!
How are you feeling Habs fans? Rejuvenated?
I think you missed the point. My post was sarcastic. I was defending Bergevin.
I have no problem for a GM to realize that finally this guy has plateaued and is no good. What I have AGAINST the same GM is that once he realizes it. TRADE HIM RIGHT ****ING now before you can get something interesting and before other GM's realized what you gave them so you can get some value for it.
I somehow prefer Scott Gomez to Pacioretty. At least, Gomez showed up during the playoffs.
14 pts in 19 games for Scott in his 1st playoff run with us.
Pacioretty: 19 points in 38 playoffs games.

Other GMs don't even have to realize it Bergy just told it to everyone We will get nothing for Brolieau and not a lot for AG. People need to let that sink in right now or else they will be disappointed.

Joking. Right?
I don't know if I hate Bergevin more or Pierre Gauthier.
Probably Bergevin. He should get fired. It's not even funny. It's so pathetic everytime he's talking. Saying how #1C are too hard to find.
Tyler Seguin is probably a #3C then.
I should have probably used great instead of good. But you see my point. Like the elite ones able to win multiple cups are not legion. There's not 30 of those like some people think.
Life is not easy man give him a chance.
At my next evaluation at my job if my boss tells me i did a bad job i'll just tell him my job is hard hard and it's not my fault. I'll tell you how it went after losing my job.
Even worse some people wanted Gilbert Brule who was drafted aftre price.
Why are you shocked? He's been repeating the safe stuff for the last five seasons. I just don't know whst you expected.
Pierre Mcguire was once quoted as saying..............what a monumental mistake, Montreal has made drafting Carey Price.
So, not much he says, has any credibility with most.........the guy is an absolute idiot.
Teams on the rise, sure Peanut...
He made a mistake, people do.
It's different from Bergevin, who has a pattern of making mistakes.
Joking. Right?
Let's sum this up:
-MB knows you need a 1C to win a cup
-MB says it is impossible to trade for said 1C
-MB says we don't pick high enough to draft said 1C
-MB won't/didn't tank to get required picks
-MB will have the Habs stay in mediocrity for the remainder of his tenure
What I really don't get though is that there have been plenty of good centers traded (not necessarily #1's) that would have greatly helped the Habs.
