I never thought I said that....and I don't actually believe it...but geez do I wish that the Sens have some blowouts against the Rangers and the incredible Henrik Lundqvist. What will Bergevin be able to say then?

No one cares
Well now fellow hab fans, how ya like dem apples?:laugh: We are now the Montreal Try hards, the only reason we are unhappy with the team is because we expect too much from them.

Max is a great father and Jonathon Toews and his three cup rings is no more of a number one center than Phillip Danault!!!

If Marc Bergevin had a way to bottle BS he would be a billionaire. I do not know for the life of me how any defender of his can ever come on here and say that they feel like he is doing a good job. He is running this hockey team into the ground and smiling while he does it. Today reminds me of 1996 when I said au revoir to my beloved team because I could not bear to watch a sinking ship.

This organisation is not competing for a Stanley Cup, my how our standards have fallen, where is S Bah? I want some inspirational quotes about the great Marc Bergevin and how he strikes fear into the hearts of mere mortal gms.:laugh:

I don't see it that way.

For me it's a lack of communication skills, education, and cleverness + shyness, that make him look that way.

But the worst part is that he is no better now than 5 years ago when he was hired.

That's basically what his ego is, mental creation to bypass fact he is not very intelligent. If he didn't have it, he wouldn't be in the position he is in right now (working at a managerial level)

Which is why people talk about MB being a con artist that fooled a bunch of people to not pay attention to his "lacunes" (Forgot the English word lol) that and he was part of a cup winning franchise.

I don't know if I hate Bergevin more or Pierre Gauthier.

Probably Bergevin. He should get fired. It's not even funny. It's so pathetic everytime he's talking. Saying how #1C are too hard to find.

Tyler Seguin is probably a #3C then.

People have a right to complain. The templates for success are out there for everyone to see and comprehend. How is it not a complete failure for Bergevin to stick to his guns promoting team building strategies that have been defunct for over a decade? He's delusional, if nothing else.

I agree 100%, everyone has a right to comment and complain. That's the whole point of a forum. It would be boring if it wasn't different people with different opinions. If the template is so easy to see and comprehend why has only CHI PIT and LAK won in the recent years? How come ALL the other teams didn't adopt this SUPER easy template to win?

The Julien speech to Pacioretty (which shouldn't have been brought up by Max publicly) was very telling to me.

I think he won't be here next season. Just a hunch.

You'll also notice that his 'fun guy, charming persona' has disappeared completely, to be replaced by his true nature of arrogance, simplicity, poor judgement, and primitive hockey acumen.

yup. pressure has that wonderful quality of exposing what's at the core of people...

Casper and Bergie are both exposed for who they are when the pressure ramps up. Almost feel bad for them, must not be easy to know everyone can see past the carefully crated facade and have your character weakness on display for the world to see.... then you remember they are millionaires about to go on holiday and the sympathy fades away.

whats the point of saying Price is going no where then?

what's the point, seriously, of anything he said?\

that's the problem, there is none. pointless, clueless.

Because despite the popular belief 90% of the GM in the NHL are just not really good. The really good ones are rare. I would say between 3 to 5 GM are not even better than the best posters around here (me not included in the lot of best posters of course). They know more about the laws, rules, CBA and economy (or they hire people who know about them) but as far as hockey goes they are bad. Some of them are downright terribad.

Believe me. Gauthier was a worse human being. Not even close.

At this point even a 2nd line center would be great. Danault and Plekanec are both 3rd line center.

So all the GM's are bad. Ok.

It pains me to say this, but I have to agree with bergevins assement on beaulieu. He was given a great oppourtunity to prove himself this year, but he fell flat on his face.

I still feel he can be a top 4 guy but he has to show that he wants more than every 4 games or so.

So in resume, everything is tough. Picking low won't make us get good players unless we are lucky. So signing Price (which means NEVER being able to tank), admitting that everything is tough to get, admitting that picks won't come and save us, MEANS that we are going to be average for the next 8 years.

And that the ONLY thing that would make us great are bounces and luck!

How are you feeling Habs fans? Rejuvenated?
