That seems so incredibly likely at this point. Keep the faith, change nothing, face a really good team in the first round this time and once again, lose. Hard to believe someone doesn't get fired at that point.

Hayes making a good point on Overdrive - Dubas saying if he feels one way after 4 games, why should he feel differently 3 games later?

Because it's game 5, 6 and 7 of the playoffs Kyle. They're not like other games. Man Kyle's a smart guy, I've said that for years but I think he's missing something here, I really do.
"It is impossible for a man to understand something when his salary demands that he doesn't understand it".

Both scared. Yes, 88 had good stats this series and created some room. Don't fool yourself. Sooner or later they will run into a tougher matchup or less space and time and they won't dig in.

This is from watching 5 series with the same tendencies.
William stepped up in three with better and tigther checking

Nylander is a 60 point, 25-30 goal winger. You trade him, you spend the next deadline trying to put together a package trying to replace him.

I usually like your post but this one is totally stupid. Marner could have "settled" for 8 million AAV or even 5 million AAV and he woulda made more money in ONE YEAR than most families make in a lifetime. Same for Matthews.
I’m afraid to admit what I would do just to pay my small mortgage off. Lol.

Honestly I think shrooms should be a staple before every Leafs game nextyear. Might be more entertaining.

There is a new kind of leaf that's legal now, and it's green in colour...a new leaf with some character...:sarcasm:

Matthews pissed me off today. He’s smug face and smirks at facing legitimate questions was so disrespectful. Calling outside opinions and comments noise and just dismissing anybody outside the room that dares have a comment.

Well guess what jackass we pay your salary, buy your jerseys, buy tickets and buy your hockey cards. I wouldn’t trade Marner, I would trade Pig nose for an elite D and bunch of picks or prospects. Let Tavares play top line and find some people that care. He’s leaving anyways in 4 years trade his ass now.[/QUOTE]

IMO the best move for the leafs....

and LOL pig nose.

What apologizing? I haven't heard one.
Are you suggesting "saw a lot of net but just didn't go in" or "years now we've not made it out the first round, we'll be better next season" not considered an apology?

Edit:

It's only been over 60hrs I'm still bitter about the loss, it may take the summer before I can recover from this.

The thing is, they can’t even sustain their regular season level.
We call players like them chokers. That’s the same thing we said about DD. If you can sustain your regular season level and just couldn’t reach that extra gear, that’s one thing but to go 0 goals in 18 games, that’s a whole new level crap.
Not at all surprising to me .. Mitch is giving his all during regular season .. he has no ability with his skill sets to go to next level in playoffs due to stride length and lack of overall body strength .. you have to get to da root cause here .. too many people here are misinformed cause our media really do not understand players histories and skill sets and they are largely bought off by Leafs

At least someone here has eyes that can see who doesn't cheat you on effort!

Maybe you are right .. i was looking at it from Marner family players perspective .. but either way it is too late now .. without moving him this team due to CAP is going nowhere .. florida tampa and boston are far superior teams .. montreal and ottawa will take some points from Leafs too .. i could see a real struggle to get last wildcard next year
