When we're healthy.

Carl Hagelin - Derek Stepan - Rick Nash
Ryane Clowe - Brad Richards - Ryan Callahan
Mats Zuccerello - Derek Brassard - Chris Kreider
Derek Dorsett - Brian Boyle - Darroll Powe

Ryan McDonagh - Dan Girardi
Marc Staal - Michael Del Zotto
Anton Stralman - John Moore

Wow, I kinda like it... Love that 4th line actually.

Were gonna have one of the most expensive 4th lines in the NHL with pyatt, boyle, dorsett

Dorsett will be 3rd line RW and they will likely try and trade Pyatt

Boyle i'm not sure now that they have cap space. They both only have a yr left on their deals so that's good to move or if they stay

Does anyone remember what the line-up looked like on opening day?

Hagelin Brassard Nash
Zuccarello Stepan Callahan
Clowe Richards Miller
Dorrset Boyle Asham/Powe

Brassard might have chemistry with Nash. see if it works. they did play on the Jackets for a bit.. Clowe and Richards and Miller might work. Clowe can do the dirty work for Richards. Zuccarello Stepan Cally has skil speed and hustle...

THAT DEPTH :naughty::naughty::naughty:

Is CK or Clowe capable of playing RW? Oh, and can Moore play RD?

Hagelin-Stepan-Nash
Zuccarello-Richards-Callahan
Clowe-Brassard-Kreider
Miller-Boyle-Powe
Asham

McDonagh-Girardi
Staal-Moore/MDZ
MDZ/Moore-Stralman
Hamrlik

Hagelin-Stepan-Nash
Zuccarello-Richards-Callahan
Clowe-Brassard-Boyle
Asham-Powe-Dorsett
extras: Pyatt, Miller, Kreider

McDonagh-Girardi
Staal-Del Zotto
Moore-Stralman
extras: Eminger, Hamrlik, Gilroy, McIlrath, (Sauer)

Pyatt in for injured Dorsett. Eminger in for injured Staal. Miller, Kreider, McIlrath await their chances. I think it's a nice-looking roster. Looked good today!

Next year...Drool

Hags-Steps-Nash
Clowe-Richards-Cally
Kreider-Brass-Miller
Dorsett-Boyle-Asham

Zuccs

Staal-G
McD-MDZ
Moore-Undertaker

I like Clowe with Beaver, Nash with Steps. I think those are the center-wing combinations we should focus on. Then figure out where Cally, Zucc, and Hags fit in.

Does anyone else find it funny that Nash is now on LW? Torts is a dummy and Gaborik should of been on RW all yr.........anywho that ships sailed and I like the current lines. Would like them even more if they make the playoffs and Dorsett gets back for the final few games of the year

Nash, Stepan, Callahan - dandy, just keep them rolling

Clowe, Richards, Zuccarello- BR needs a guy like Clowe and Zuke needs top 6 min

Hagelin, Brassard, Boyle(eventually Dorsett) - I actually think this line can score

Pyatt, Powe ( eventually Boyle), Asham- just keep the puck in the other teams end

On D if Moore can play RD and Staal comes back healthy the last week of the season its real nice

McDonaugh, Girardi
Staal, Moore
Del Zotto, Stralman

spares Hamrlik, Gilroy, Eminger (I actually would resign Eminger next yr, others let go)

Lundqvust
Biron

as a side note next yr I think they can move Pyatt out, Rupp got traded so hopefully they can get a pick for Pyatt and then a guy like Kreider , Miller , Fasth step in. Likely 2 of those 3

Has anyone looked at the CT Whale lineup? Wow that teams had depth which is great for the Rangers future. Makes me feel better about not having early picks next yr. Keep signing College kids like they have btw.

The more I think about it, the more I really wish we hadn't burnt a year off Miller's ELC. Next year we could field a lineup like this:

Hagelin-Stepan-Nash
Clowe-Richards-Callahan
Kreider-Brassard-Fast/Thomas
Hrivik-Lindberg/Miller-Dorsett

Scratches: Boyle, Powe, Asham (dump Pyatt down a hole and forget about him)

If we hadn't burnt that first year off Miller's ELC, then next year would only be the first year of his contract and we could slot him in the year after that after amnestying Richards or letting Brassard walk/trading Brassard. As is, this creates something of a logjam. Miller really would benefit from some serious time in Hartford too.

I know it's all a pipe dream since Torts would never slot that many kids into the lineup anyway, but those could be some nice lines next season. Hrivik and Lindberg are both two-way guys who might be able to play the defensive roles quite well. The top six is experienced and talented. And that third line has the potential to be dangerous.

When Dorsett comes back, he's a much better option at 3Rw than Boyle is. You guys are underratig him. He could play that role rather well. Almost like an Avery/Prust skillset where he can play 3rd line minutes effectively with two skilled guys. It's a defensive role.

I would go with

Hagelin Stepan Nash
Zuccarello Richards Callahan
Clowe Brassard Dorsett
Powe Boyle Asham
Pyatt

I really liked the lineup we used in the 3rd period last night. Solid top 9, Boyle on the 4th line... :sarcasm:

Callahan-Stepan-Nash
Clowe-Richards-Zuccarello
Hagelin-Brassard-Nash
Asham-Boyle-Pyatt

Powe on PK
