To make matters worse they need to waive somebody if they want to bring in a fresh body. So who do we waive?

I think if the trip goes as bad as it looks the team will waive 1-2 players as a warning shot to all - White, Arti, Paquette types?

Lots of candidates. However, I suspect the most likely scenario will be that one of Norris, Stutzle, Bath gets sent to the taxi squad since they dont need waivers. My immediate guess is that Timmy Superstar is gonna be the odd one out, possibly even to Manheim at some point. And that's when the fanbase will really explode.

Ya - I’m curious to see how they handle him before Wed. The guy hadn’t played in a week and had new line mates.

J.Brown has been fine in his role imo, if we had a better option on the right side maybe we waive him but I'm fine with him. Plays ok within his limitations.

At this point it wouldn't hurt giving him a try, but I'm pretty sure his "pace" is the main reason he is not on the team.

Not a problem. Brown can keep up just fine. Is he a perfect and complete nhl player? No. But he’s already better than half the guys were dressing.
Let him learn and improve rather than sitting on his ass.
Same goes for chlapik and formenton and brannstrom.

Yes agreed. With the way tierney is playing I would like to see him get rewarded. Up with the first line and Norris down with Paul and brown let him play a simpler game. Although part of me doesn’t want to split up our one good line.

All of Haley, Chlapik, White, Aspirot, and Peca should draw into the lineup Wednesday. We have said it’s merit based, well look at the page at 5 games. Guys have earned their ticket to getting waived. We aren’t going to do any worse than 7-1 (hold my beer...)

White will, and I’d imagine Chlapik may if we put Paquette on the I.R. Otherwise, it will be the same roster with White in for someone and Coburn in for someone.

2nd best PP player in the org though, according to Dorion. That's something. Maybe scratch Paquette and the nothing he provides and bring in Brown as a PP specialist.

I might be wrong but from what i understand BC and Alberta don't currently have a quarentine requirement if you are coming from another canadian province, so unless the 7 day thing is self imposed by the nhl in its retun to play provisions I'm not sure why guys coming from the Belleville crew would have to quarantine.

1. I learned last night that a 2 on 1 developing with Stepan will never end up being a 2 on 1.

Terrible idea - Norris will have and need a break here and there but he’s been the teams best center - by far and after less than 10 games in the NHL. You don’t detail that development for under achievers.

When Logan gets here he will prob be the teams second best center.

It would accomplish Taxi squad players getting to play Bruce, that's how the Taxi squad works.
