Game 6 they will come out flying, give a valiant effort but fail to put 2 past Vasileskiy and then Tampa will score 2 hum dingers and gracefully trap their way to the final while mustering 18 shots on goal. Out coached and their top line scored the clutch goals. f*** Tampa. This is 2015 all over again.

No, he wasn’t. Laf, who gets like 10 minutes of ice time a game, was our best player. He just also happened to have a terrible turnover leading to the ENG, so I’m sure Gallant staples him to the bench for the next millennium.

Panarin has been a f***ing ghost. Just because he was good tonight in comparison to the dogshit we’ve seen this far, it means absolutely nothing.

so you didn't watch the game then, alright.

Tampa is on the verge of being the first team in three straight finals since the 80's. They're one of the best to ever do it.

They're like four different teams and can switch like pressing a button. Tonight they became the Islanders and we've seen that mathcup before.
And yet we're still not done in the series, we win game 6 and it's ours for the taking in game 7.

Oh why not? Because he has been so outstanding in these type of games this postseason? Because he wasnt the main culprit for the late goals in game 3 and game 5? He has been atrocious.
He leads the team in goals in the playoffs.

It will be very interesting to see the injury reports when the season ends. Copp is 100% playing much more hurt than is led to believe. You dont go from being one of our most effective forwards to whatever this version is with nothing significantly wrong.

Motte should be an absolute resign as well. Guy is our best 4th liner and its not even close. Really wish the would inject Hunt into the lineup for Rooney to give a little spark. Blais would be ideal but he missed far too much time.

I think Copp has devolved into a second Strome. Soft plays, pulling up, not trapping the puck on the wall. Seems different than when he first arrived.

He did it routinely. He played deep in his net and had insane reflexes.

Igor is an excellent goalie. But the fact of the matter is that he has zero shutouts in the postseason. You need a couple of those to win it all. Tonight was the night we needed it.
That’s complete bull. The score would’ve been 2-1 with prime Lundqvist in net.

Show me one video when Hank saves a deflection right in front of the goal while being screened . I will wait

Lost on that Strome miss is that Copp should have shot that puck.

Two seeing eye drifting pucks beat us. Brutal. We deserved better. Earned at least 2-3 power plays with the effort. Absolutely nothing. Hate to blame the refs, we still had chances and didn’t convert, but man that is just horse shit.

We’re still alive. I have 0 expectations. Will just hope they can pull it out and if they don’t, heck of a run.

The real issue, and what I’ve learned from all my teams. When you get your chances to win, you gotta pull it out. It’s really hard to get this far.

Well. We've read this book before. Going to Tampa for a Game 6 facing elimination. They staved it off in 2015. No reason they can't do it again. Pressure is going to be on Tampa to close it out, but they've been here before and I have more faith in them closing it out than Pittsburgh or Carolina.

Remember the last time the Rangers won the Cup? They went into Jersey facing elimination in a Game 6 after a very lackluster Game 5. Who's going to be this team's Messier?

Just win Saturday and again, you get to another anything can happen Game 7. There is absolutely nothing else in sports like a Game 7 in the NHL playoffs. All bets are off.

Lundqvist is one of my favorite Rangers of all time. There were always people crying about any goal he let in and how he needed to steal a game when the Rangers lost. Nothing has changed - just the name of the goalie.
