That Strome miss is reminicient of the Nash miss against LA when he had the wide open net, and it fluttered just right off the Kings player's stick to go off course.

If you're going to trash Igor to prop up your country man then yes I'll minimize Henrik's career when you're saying that the guy got them to the Stanley Cup Final when he did it once in a 15 year or so career and Igor got the team almost there in his second full season. And Lundqvist didn't have the firepower in front of him he also wasn't playing behind a team that's given up the most shots through 18 games in NHL history. Also, where were all of the stars in the last three games when the team scored 4 goals total? It's funny I was actually criticizing Igor today after the game to some friends (separate from this board) but the argument that Lundqvist at least made it to the Stanley Cup Final when the ECF isn't over and even if it will be on Saturday would be further than Hank got until his 6th season in the NHL is absurd. You're comparing Lundqvist's 15 year career to Shesterkin's two year career.
This post is full of stupid takes. "prop my country man"?, how about arguably one of the greatest Rangers to ever play the game.
It would be so like this team to come back and win it in 7 though.
As dire as things seem right now, it wasn't nearly as dire as it was against Pittsburgh after game 4.
Miller: does absolutely nothing. = penalty
Kakko choked literally around the throat while breaking to the net = 0 call.
Worst f*cking refs ever.
Hope we f*ck them up on Saturday.
You guys know Strome is playing hurt right.
I'm not going to get into an argument with you. Tell me how my take is stupid. Your take about Lundqvist going to the SCF once in a 15 year career and comparing it to a two year career is what kind of take exactly?
Instead of ad hominem arguments, why don't you tell me what I said that was stupid?
Once upon a time New York Rangers fans got to watch Hall of Famer defenseman Brian Leetch receive a pass, collect himself, look at the net, grab a cup of coffee, pick his target and perfectly put the puck under the crossbar to go up 1-0 in game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
Nowadays New York Rangers fans get to watch Hall of Shamer Ryan Strome enter complete panic mode as he attempts to get the grenade, I mean puck, as far away from himself as quickly as possible without any care as to where the opposing team's net is.
Recency bias aside he's been pretty good. 18 points in 16 games during the season and 13 points in 19 games in playoffs and I'm not sure he's 100%. Plus he's a 53% FO guy. We could do much worse. Not really sure what everyone sees in Copp. The pass to Strome was nice but I haven't seen much of anything from him.
You are the one with the ad hominem. Suggesting that I have some homer bias because of nationality. Grow up kid.
It's just pain. I really thought this group would be the one's to break the curse.
f***, this just sucks. The stagnant cap is going to slam this group's window shit in two years. I don't think that this team will get this close again.
Tampa will be broken up but still a threat. Florida is still going to be around for a couple more years especially if Bobrobsky's contract gets moved. Washington will annoyingly still be around and give us fits if they meet again. Finally, there's no way the Rangers don't run into Carolina again. They'll exact their revenge next year or the one after because that's just how shit goes. With our luck, the other year, that will be the year the Rangers run into Toronto that finally gets it together and makes a Cup Final.
I know that this team is ahead of schedule, and that the tank is empty and Tampa knows to close out a series, but Jesus, this is going to sting if this run ends Saturday or Tuesday.
Ugh. F*ck. Boys I DON'T WANT IT TO END....The refs?

It is what it is.
We played very well. That game was a coin flip and they got the deflection.
We're hanging right in there with this best and we've shown an awful lot.
Rooney is 100% on Gallant, when he has superior players sitting on the bench. Vatrano is what he is, and has been a good player but he's in over his head and it's hurting ZIbanejad and Kreider because there's no playmaker on that line to get them the puck. There's no good options other than I guess moving Laf back up there so won't blame Gallant there.lmao.
Even with the whiff, Rooney and Vatrano were still the 2 biggest clowns in this game. We don't lose (or probably don't lose) if those guys can make a simple play. I guess that applies to Strome too, but I can forgive a beefed attempt at scoring way more than I can an unforced turnover in your own end.
Tell me what I'm wrong about when it comes to you comparing a 15 year Rangers career and a 2 year Rangers career.
No question It's on E and I give them credit for playing hard tonight. 19 intense games in 38 days takes it's toll both physically and mentally. Oh well.I think the gas tank is on empty. 7 game series take their toll. The same thing happened to us in 2012.
