Right after we started the 4 minute powerplay, Chytil got sticked right in the eye, they knew it happened, and it was just like "nah, you already have one."

Far from the reason we lost but just complete mask-off game management.
Yeah the game management of it all is what’s most infuriating. The PP Tampa got right after we scored two straight PPGs is a clear example of gsme management.

Not calling that high stock on Chytil when we’re already on the PP is game management. And that is why fans get mad. They let all crazy amounts of interference and obstruction go and then call random things when the time is right. It’s just no consistency and the obsession with game management that is so bad.

Refs were "instructed" to call the Rangers for anything when it was 2-1. That 2nd "penalty" was a directive from Bettman. It's so obvious the NHL just wants "drama". 100% guaranteed we lose the next game now.
Why are the people that wear tin foil hats on the board all have user names of players with pictures from 94....hmmmm

Okay but they aren't posting here, so your point doesn't have as much merit. Refs being poor in a game against your team is incredibly frustrating and stupid regardless if someone else thinks the team didn't deserve to win anyway. And posting about it on your own teams forum shouldn't be ridiculed.

Nobody wants to hear 97 people posting the same shit about how much they hate the team and kill every player blah blah blah after we were all happy last week and saying that we are playing with house money now in the postseason

But this is going nowhere, if you wanna attack people because they wanna say how some instances of the refs were horseshit this game then that's your prerogative. Throwing out random hypos for other games or series really don't matter. Go knock on your neighbors door and tell them that you think the Rangers deserved the loss tonight, because I bet that person cares just as much as anyone else reading it here

I don't know what your point is.

My only point is that if someone believes the league wants to extend a series for business reasons than they should believe that the league was the reason the Rangers' series didn't end quicker, with the Rangewrs losing.

Yet, not a single person here believes that. That means these folks are incapable of logic.

It’s not always if you lose a game, it’s HOW you lose.

I’ve felt nothing getting blown out by 7 goals in round 1 a couple times, but today with the chance to go up 3-0 in the series AND after taking a 2-0 lead in the game AND then go on to lose the game with 40 seconds left, I want to f***ing puke right now. I barely have a f***ing appetite to eat dinner.
I mean this with all sincerity, find someone or something that lets you work through this. Friends IRL, guys on here that you're close with, lifting weights, hiking, yoga, baking whatever. That shit really isn't healthy, look after yourself

Not sure how long it is going to take for me to cool off.

I just did a massive aquarium cleaning and water change, and i am still a wreck.
Would have taken being up 2-1 at this point but it's frustrating to watch them shoot themselves in the foot like that. Horrible penalties and even worse coaching.

This is something you don't even notice from your side but a Tampa friend of mine pointed out all the ways Cooper got taken behind the woodshed in the first two games.

Calls timeout late in game 2 after a Rangers icing with our guys dying from exhaustion. Chalked game 1 up to rust and refused to change anything about the gameplan. Keeps leaving the Zibanejad play completely available on the PP which he admitted to Emily on live tv that he has no answer for and isn't trying anymore.

That was Gallant today. Cooper didn't have to come up with an adjustment for the Kid Line because Gallant took them away. Gallant ran his own players into the ground playing basically five forwards before Cooper had a chance to call some lame timeout.

This is very reminiscent of 2015 where Cooper and AV got in a pants-shitting contest and AV won.

No goal is on Shesty. I can't believe people still want to point the finger at him. We're letting him get shot up for 51 shots in a playoff game, take six penalties in the game with f***ing Trouba taking three of those six, and you want to whine because a soft one gets through after he stops 49 of them.

This fan base is insufferable when it comes to the goalies. Always want them to steal games, always asking for perfection, but its the guys in front of him not gutting it out.

If any of the skaters scores 10 and then ends up turning the puck over for a game winning goal against I surre as f*** would be blaming the player for it. No matter the fact he scored 10. Same goes with Igor.

Okay, game management is a myth. Tim Peel was framed.
Again, if you believe the league's agenda played a role in today's game, do you similarly believe that the same thing happened in the Rangers favor against Pitt or Carolina?

If not, why not?

Dude we're in the conference finals up 2-1. Believe it or not there are levels between "everyone sucks" and "we won a stanley cup"
I didn't say everyone sucks. I said the combinations suck.

We've relied heavily on the PP and Fox to generate offense.

Our forward don't really get anything going at all 5v5. I don't think that's even a little bit out of line to say.

The lines needed a shakeup months ago. In the case of the Panarin line, YEARS ago.

Ok, how about this?

Strome hurt his back

Strome also got hurt on the leg

Ramsay in the back room with Strome asked which hurt more

Strome said the leg

Ramsay told Gallant, it's a lower-body injury

Say what you will about Trouba overall as a player but there’s a serious point to be made that he may have turned the momentum of this whole series with his stupid penalty when we’re up 2-0. So idiotic even giving the refs a chance to call anything. We had them. They were throwing their best shot at us and couldn’t beat Shesty and we’re up 2. If we make it 3-0 it’s game over. Even 2-0 we could’ve played a smart and tight game to finish it off. The last thing to do is give them a PP.

And the game and the series turned right there. Let’s hope it’s not going to lead to the end of our season.

To be fair, we benefitted from a similar no call a few seconds later. Trouba did elbow Bellemare in the face during the delayed penalty. TB wanted both calls, and we probably would have been pissed if the same had happened to us. Still not happy with the officiating. Refs need to pick a standard and apply it to both teams. Make the teams adjust to the way the refs are calling the game rather than having the refs adjust their calls towards each team so it feels "even." Being "fair" means making similar calls for similar infractions, not making sure each team has the same number of PP chances.

This is a challenge but you weren't going to go through Tampa in 4. Our play on the road has been subpar, on our heels. It was for much of the Carolina series until Carolina choked, more so than we dominated them in game 7. If we have any hope of accomplishing anything going forward, we need to find another gear. Colorado at home with home advantage is going to brutalize us if we get there. Always an opportunity to get better.

Could also be that I guess, he definitely did pick up his knee. Actually thinking about it now that is more likely
I'm guessing a leg muscle pull or strain.,

My wife and 2 year old help with it. But I’ve been this way for years. When we lost to the Devils in the ECF in 2012, I drove to a desolate parking lot and sat by myself for hours listening to silence thinking about it all.

I’ve gotten better at coping over the years. Haha

The other team's goaltending has just been observably worse at MSG.

Whether or not you think that's a coincidence is up to you I guess but it should be clear by now to the coach that that's what's happening.

These lines suck wind.
We'll see how it goes. I'm hoping for the best but ultimately just enjoying it.
