It's the worst and I frankly don't get how the constant, nonstop doom and gloom stuff isn't considered trolling when the team is 3rd in the league and on pace for the best season in franchise history.

It honestly brings the experience here down so much.

Cut it out, not all negative stuff is trolling. Maybe to a degree certain 'drive-by' posters are trolling (and if you think they are report those posts instead of just attacking them on the board) but every negative comment gets lumped in with them and the same complaints are made about every negative comment in a GDT. We can't outlaw all negativity in GDT's.

And just because the team's had a great season doesn't mean they don't deserve to get some slagging for these two games, where they themselves hyped it up as a playoff test.

This is the fanbase I think. Even at the games…the crowd becomes completely comatose at the first sign of adversity or disappointment. Might even contribute to the mediocre home record.

its fine to be negative about this game, I am frustrated too and that 5 on 3 was not good. But to then immediately jump to THIS TEAM SUCKS WE'RE NOT DOING ANYTHING IN THE PLAYOFFS based on one random regular season game is ridiculous. And its the same few people who do it over and over.

That 5 on 3 pissed me off about as much as a Blackwood softy.

We looked the best we had all night before that and looked like we were about to take the lead 2-1 at even strength, but then came the two penalties and the dreadful 5 on 3 that followed, and then the goal against right after the two guys came out of the box.

You're here every game. You see some only come here to be negative and bring everyone down during this awesome season. I'm not talking about isolated events. There's being frustrated with a play and then there's constant doom and gloom.

Yeah, the first part of the 5 on 3 was actually really good, they just had bad luck. The last 30 seconds or whatever was not great, but it's gotta be weird trying to be aware of two guys that are going to be coming out of the box.

Come on now people…. Do you honestly think Meier just forgot how to play hockey or his skill leaked out of him when he was traded? Or could it maybe be a 26 year old moving across the country , leaving what was his hime for his entire life , trying to learn a new system , new line mates , pressure to perform, May need some time to get going ? No matter what we did at the TDL , people would have been mad. If we didn’t add Meier - people would complain we sat on our hands and didn’t take advantage of adding an elite player to one of our best overall seasons all time . Adding Meier was 100% the right move.

Timo has been underwhelming, that can't be denied. But I agree it's probably a lot to do with what you said and a lot none of us even understand.

He hasn't been very good, and if I had a time machine to go back to the day Fitz made the trade and be able to be in the room, I would still stand right behind him with a hand on his shoulder whispering dooo iiittttt.

It was and still is the right move, the way he is playing right now means nothing, but doesn't need to be ignored.
