Our powerplay has no excuse not to score on a full 2 minute 5 on 3. Pathetic.

One shot makes me more annoyed than actually not scoring

Come on now people…. Do you honestly think Meier just forgot how to play hockey or his skill leaked out of him when he was traded? Or could it maybe be a 26 year old moving across the country , leaving what was his hime for his entire life , trying to learn a new system , new line mates , pressure to perform, May need some time to get going ? No matter what we did at the TDL , people would have been mad. If we didn’t add Meier - people would complain we sat on our hands and didn’t take advantage of adding an elite player to one of our best overall seasons all time . Adding Meier was 100% the right move.

I don’t disagree. He will be fine. But at the moment…..he’s been terrible. I get no joy in saying that. It was an outstanding trade still and he will be a huge asset. However, he’s hurting this team at the moment.

That 5v3 was not good. I wish they would play it like they play the 5v4. The old give it to Jack curling down from the blue line and let him shoot or pass play...but this time he would have two options.

I’m astounded at how certain negative trends have lasted a decade+ no matter who is on the roster or the talent level. This team is absolutely cursed in shootouts and 5v3.

It's the worst and I frankly don't get how the constant, nonstop doom and gloom stuff isn't considered trolling when the team is 3rd in the league and on pace for the best season in franchise history.
