I've had enough of Stamkos... I think it's time he gets TROUBA'D!!Should have been a penalty on Stamkos.

I think they traded away those first-rounders in the Giroux trade. One of them was a conditional. If outside a top 10 pick, it belongs to Philly.I just double checked they do have a 2nd round in 2023 but that’s it.
Well put!!!I’ll be honest, I have a different take on the “Igor’s better” chants.
Igor was clearly the best goalie in the NHL this regular season. It wasn’t even close. The fact that we are saying “Igor’s better”, is actually in a way a show of respect to Vasi, an acknowledgement that he’s an upper echelon goaltender in this league.
You didn’t see us chanting that against Raanta/Jarry/domingue. It was just universal knowledge.
Trouba is a freight train!!I've had enough of Stamkos... I think it's time he gets TROUBA'D!!
Would be a huge upgrade!!!!Why doesn't Sam get a job at ESPN?
doesn't he still do national football broadcasts?
Appreciate those kids you guys! That is a #1 line in the making! Aggressive, shifty, and tenacious with plenty of skill. Chytl coming into his own, Laffy will develop into a superstar and Kakko is your Wayne Cashman. As a Habs fan I can tell you earnestly that they would be #1 line in Montreal no matter what Suzuki and CC would do! But ya can’t have everything….. where would you put it!Kakko's doing the unheralded grunt work on that line. He is excellent at creating turnovers with his stick checking and a lot of chances have come off of him stripping the other team of the puck and his teammates taking advantage. He doesn't always get on the scoresheet for it but he's definitely part of what's making that line tick. Hope he can get a few goals for himself as well
Not only is it great to see these kids become a dangerous line, but with their excellent shifts, and Goodrow and Motte solidifying a dependable forth line as well,... our top two lines can remain fresh with limited minutes. And that is huge after playing 14 games in the first two rounds. Gallant having 4 lines he can roll all game long, will be key the further we go.Appreciate those kids you guys! Also obnoxious. Just like the serenading he got at Pittsburgh. Can we break Tampa's streak of 18 wins after a loss and do this again Friday night? Break that streak and I really think that they may spaz and come apart at the seams. Winning tonight was massive but Friday is so much more important.
I may be in the minority here, but can we cut the shit with the "Igor's better!" chants? Bad juju if you ask me.
I couldn't care less about who comes out of the West. If Edmonton beats Colorado, they won't be easy to beat.I am gonna remember this goal for a long time. With it involving 5 of our young stars, it's like we had a peek into the future. K'Andre with the great set up. Chytil tapping his stick on the ice for K'Andre. Fox coming on the ice for Trouba late in the play, to jump up at the blueline and keep the puck in. Kakko coming on for Reavo, gets a quick shot off in the slot on net. Laffy replacing Motte on the play, hunting the puck, and keeping the play alive. In all,... a full minute and one second of sustained pressure, with Tampa helpless to do anything about it. Just Wow!
This goal basically iced the game for us giving us a two goal lead heading into the third, after each team took turns scoring before then. All that was left was to shut then down in the third while potting a couple of more goals.
We all gotta root for EDM tonight if we want a much better chance to raise the Cup. It means home ice for us in the Finals.
It’s 100% not rust from 9 f***ing days off. You don’t get rust from 9 days.Didn’t expect such an easy win. But I’ll gladly take it! Definitely expect TB to wake up tomorrow. Likely just rusty from over a week off. You just can’t write this team off — no matter how poor their start. Just look at the Toronto series.

Yes, a sign to turn on the A/CIt’s a sign.
Hey, I’d love a sweep, but I have a hard time believing we’re just that much better than the Bolts. It’s 100% not rust from 9 f***ing days off. You don’t get rust from 9 days.
Because they’re really not good anymore. We’re just used to them and sentimental.I was wondering why Joe didn't get a national gig, as well
Or maybe the bolts just didn’t realize how good we were? Or maybe just maybe they are finally out of gas after all those long playoff runs. That much on your body takes a toll on you.Hey, I’d love a sweep, but I have a hard time believing we’re just that much better than the Bolts.

Typical complacent attitude. Yeah sure, let's get in reach of the mountain top, and then not care if we take our final steps in a blizzard. Sure that makes sense.I couldn't care less about who comes out of the West. If Edmonton beats Colorado, they won't be easy to beat.
Get to the finals and be happy to be there.

And I ask you, who will be happy if we make the Finals and Lose? You would be in a small minority of,... "Oh well, at least we got experience."
It is very hard to get to the Finals, and doesn't happen often. It would be a crying shame to miss the opportunity of a lifetime to raise Lord Stanley's Cup.
And there is absolutely no question that playing Colorado on home ice in Denver, the Mile High City, as opposed to Edmonton at MSG would certainly be the worst case scenario.
People still don't realize how big home ice is for us. Which is why Tampa has no shot in beating us. I mean we are the better team, but with home ice, it kinda cements our victory over them.Yeah, it's mainly why I prefer the Oilers between them two if we made the finals.

Strome can't hit an empty net. It's incredible how may lay up chances he has and he always finds a way to miss. No wonder he was so happy he scored last time. It was a miracle. We score 6 and somehow strome was still invisible and i cursed out trouba a dozen times![]()
