Spector said in this article this morning.

That the top 2 Targets are 1.Hyman, 2.Schwartz. He’s the first media member to even really mention that though

Schwartz is good target, albeit with risk due to his injury past. Very good player when healthy though. That injury past might make him cheap enough for us to take a run at. He is also from Saskatchewan, so likely wouldn't have a problem returning to the prairies.

Friedman says Leafs offered Hyman 8 years at a lower salary but didn't work out. This guy is going to get a big pay day and it'll be too much on term and salary. Friedman says Oilers are high on him. Also says there's a chance Hall goes to market.
A chance?! That’s all we needed in.

The same could be said for Hyman though, who is coming off a knee injury

Benson isn't even an NHL player and never was. I don't even have high opinion of Kassian who I would leave exposed anyway..
Benson has more trade value than Kassian. there are 0 scenarios where you should protect Kassian over Benson

LMAO you're joking right?

the leading AHL producer, 3x all star down there, hasn't earned the opportunity? he has literally done the same as McLeod last year and more than Puljujarvi in the A
And clearly the org and coaching staffs don't see him as an NHL player.

Just because you play well in the AHL it means little for the NHL. Guys like Klinkhammer shit on the AHL

will be great when he becomes a good player for another team and the fools will come out and say "he was never going to succeed here", ya well no shit he wasn't even given the opportunity

If McCann can be had it HAS to be before expansion draft, if Seattle gets him they’re not letting him go.

Uhh I don’t beleive this. There’s a growing market in the East for guys exactly like Kassian. Someone who can stand up to the Tom Wilson’s and Reeves of the League. If we lose Kassian, we’ll quickly be looking for that player type and it’ll come in a much less skilled/speed package than what Kassian brings.

Schwartz would have some experience with Hitchcock too, no? If Hitchcock liked him and he is giving Holland advice, Schwartz is likely a target too.
