Same as me, pretty much. QT is okay, has churned out some seriously entertaining stuff, and I think he's pretty fantastic with dialogue, but putting him anywhere near 'best director' is pretty laughable. I felt django was messy and long, like it was his Dark Knight Rises. Christoph Waltz' delivery coming so close to what he did in inglorious was really distracting for me. Really like PF, IB and RD, in that order. No idea what people see in Jackie Brown. It's incredibly boring to me. Also really can't stand Uma Thurman (outside PF) in anything so I'm willing to agree to disagree on Kill Bill but I've fallen asleep through Vol 1. on three separate occasions.

I went to see KB2 in theatre with the GF i had at the time. We slept leaning on each other in the seats throughout almost the entire movie. Somebody woke us up in the credits.

I really enjoyed Django. Probably my favorite QT movie to be honest, but I haven't been through them in a while.

Those were pretty ordinary to me. Kill Bill is a huge snore fest. It's pure valium to me.
Kill Bill is probably among my favourite movies of all time, the action in the 1st and the dialogue in the 2nd one is a perfect balance. One of the greatest love stories of revenge.

Re-watched Thor Ragnarok...a little disappointed we didn't see Hela for longer, she is probably one of the strongest villains in MCU. Hoping to see her in the upcoming Avengers movie.

Oddly enough, I prefered Trinity. I hated the addition of face-splitting vamps and i thought the story itself was so-so.

Despite its shortcomings, i loved how they brought Dracula into blade's world in Trinity.

I loved how they brought Dracula in also but I was really disappointed in how the movie unfolded. The ending also left a lot to be desired but there is an alternate ending where Dracula ended up surviving.

Going to regret this one but watching Power Rangers to reminisce of days when I was younger (approaching the big 30). I expect this movie to be bad but figured I'd get a movie in before the habs game.

It was more the fights between Novak and Blade I liked and I was sorta intrigued with the idea of the Blood Pack or whatever they were called. My main disappointment was Blade and Donny Yen (forgot the character name) not fighting it out as Yen choreographed the movie fights I believe.

As for Blade 3, it was ok. I hoped for more Dracula feats to be shown but I felt underwhelmed by it. Hopefully Marvel brings Blade back somehow now that the rights reverted back to them.

Yeah, as expected...Power Rangers was brutal...skipped through a lot of it but finished it in the end. Wasn't a big fan of the storyline or acting either.

Gave it ★½

Cate Blanchett is hot in every role.

I feel like most people never consider her as a big actress because she's always a supporting or secondary role but she's one of my favourites and she has been in some good movies

She’s a great actress. I don’t think people underestimate her at all. But her pure hotness wearing that black body suit got me excited. Lol
I’ve always had a crush on her and she’s a great actress

I know exactly what you mean...when I saw Cate Blanchett I was instantly reminded of Anne Hathaway as Cat Woman in Batman

A shame Idris Elba was merely used as Heimdall, cuz he would've fitted pretty well as Blade.

I honestly don't think any of his movies have been misses, they've all been well received. All his movies he directed by himself are either massive hits or cinematography marvels, or both.

Reservoir dogs
Pulp Fiction
Jackie Brown
Kill Bill vol 1
Kill bill vol 2
Death Proof
Inglorious Basterds
Django Unchained
Hateful 8
Not a fan, I can't help it. Nowhere near the best IMO.

Pretty much this. I enjoyed PF, H8 was terrible, jackie brown the same, kill bills complete meh. Tbh I didn't like Django at all, but I did enjoy reservoir dogs and that's about it.

The funniest part of the movie is that they all get super-strength.. but when one of their comrades dies, they need to be the four of them to carry him over.

Secret life of pets:
Funny movie with Kevin Hart and Louis CK...chuckled a few times (mainly at the Gidget scenes) but not a very funny movie overall.

I quit Riverdale after 1 season...was going to continue it soon but I take it I shouldn't?

It actually got better with Season 2 I felt and first half of Season 3 was not so bad but the main problem right now is that they are running in circles and seem to have exaused all the ideas they had, going to the same well over and over. It would be the perfect time to change writer or just end the show.

Come on now, QTip can go hit or miss. He's not the greatest director in cinema, NEC.

There are quite a few names in front of him. Starting with Kubrick and Darabont.

Spaghetti Westerns don't have great scripts and the action is mostly sensationalistic. It will never beat the depth and beauty of a movie like Shawshank or Green Mile.

pfff Shawshank and Green Mile are Disney movies.

I don't know why but I have never found Blanchett hot ever. I don't think she has any sex appeal. In the Aviator she played Katherine Hepburn and that's fitting cause I have never found Hepburn hot either. What was Howard Hughes thinking.
