Mike Dunham's goalie equipment painted red/white/blue because he didn't want to break in new gear midseason.

Who can forget Bernie Nicholls? He was our big-splash trade, marking the start of a new competitive era, only to be traded away for an even bigger fish named Mark Messier.

Enver Lisin!

Aaron Voros
Poti, you nerd
Norm Maciver

And of course, who could forget...

Anyone remember Dustin Rose?

Cant believe I didn't see the only 1st overall pick we drafted...Mikhail pashnin.

Dude was killin it in one camp.

Dale weise. Liked him and byers a lot as potential 3rd/4th line leaders.

Erik christiansen. Lol. Just the perfect representation of "we simply cannot find a top of the line center"

Winter classic hero Mike rupp.

Scott stacjer and mac skapski.

Thought one would be what cam talbot became

Josh Jooris wore the same number as Wojtek Wolski.

Woywitka was so hyped.

88-89 saw both Brian Mullen and Brian Lawton

This thread needs more Jeffs.

Jeff Nielsen

Jeff Bloemberg.

Dude took an asswhipping from some Islander goons in a playoff game in 1990, because he publically stated he wouldn't fight due to his Christian beliefs.

Lost any shred of respect I may have had for Al Arbour then and there, because he instructed the Islanders to jump Bloemberg.

I was watching some Ryan Hollweg vids... I wonder why he's not in the NHL ... I miss him for some odd reason

How about these guys:
Dean Kennedy
Miro Horava
Ken Hammond

they all played D for '88-89 NYR, and all wore #6
1988-89 New York Rangers Roster and Statistics | Hockey-Reference.com

they were so indistinguishable that a Hockey News front page cover story on Kennedy used a picture of Hammond!

Los Angeles Kings Legends: Dean Kennedy
"In a cover story on the Feb. 3, 1989 issue of The Hockey News, Kennedy earned the dubious honor of being the NHL's "most average defenseman" as a result of a NHL average statistics analysis. Unfortunately, The Hockey News goofed in picking Kennedy's photo for the cover, accidentally choosing a photo of Ken Hammond."

Jeff Halpern! I don't think there's ever been a case of this board gushing over a player's offensive abilities for a player who had 1 assist in 30 games quite like him before.
