I imagine it would look something like this.

I'm internet Jesus on the couch - back right....

Now how about Letestu in this thread? :)

I remember when this topic used to be about Mark Letestu's contract extension.
Yeah, two pages of breaking forum rules:

10) Off-Topic Posting: Posts are to be on the topic of the board description where they're posted. Off Topic posts may be moved or closed at the moderators discretion. We do not allow homework threads. All political discussion is to be done on the Political Discussion Forum.

And some moderators taking part in it...

Ironically, that post breaks a rule of its own. Lighten up Francis! The mods know when to bring us back in line when we run too far astray. Just killing time until we can start kvetching about the terms of the contract (which should have happened six hours ago!)

“@Aportzline: As reported last week, #CBJ and Mark Letestu close on a multi-year contract extension. Not done yet, but could be finalized any day now.”

Now back to the OT.

“@Aportzline: Told Letestu's cap hit will be $1.25M per year. So, it's a two-year, $2.5 million contract. He would have been a UFA this summer.”

Great deal

Not sure how we got him for that cheap. Hell, Boll and McKenzie are at a million. Interesting.

Glad to see he is around for another 2 years.

Letestu easily worth 1.25 mil per season in my opinion. Great deal for both parties!

I'm not sure it was a great deal for Letestu. I wonder if this was the Jackets were looking for a one year deal and he wanted a longer term for some security. He was probably motivated to stay here because of the role he has been given.

Either way, not too shabby for an non-drafted player.

I'm consider Letestu mighty overrated in these parts but that cap hit is a borderline rip off for him. I'm happy he's coming back at that price.

“@RobMixer: Good for Mark and his young, growing family. Wife Brett is due any day with the couple's second child, and they love Columbus. #CBJ”

I'm consider Letestu mighty overrated in these parts but that's a very reasonable cap hit. I'm happy he's coming back with these numbers.

Long term bottom six two way player that can provide secondary scoring and is good at killing penalties while filling in on the top six in the event of injuries or poor play? Nope, I don't think he's overrated.

What do you think people think of him to suggest he's "mightily overrated"?
