I'm not that familiar with the Jackets, but is the biggest hole there the 1C?

I'd think any D hanging on Werenski must still be good. The 2nd line seems very good, and they have good goalies (based on reputation)

Sold Bjorkstrand for nothing, signed real gud to an anchor, didnt add defense depth, and didn't get any center help..
Not too surprising.
Should've traded for jt miller.
Why do they need JT Miller? He is not a 1c and terrible at defence. This narritve at JT is a good center need to stop. He is a good winger

I don't know the answer, but the individual talent is better than the team's performance. The players have zero fight in them. They are a very easy team to play right now. I have been following this garbage for 22 years. I am not sure how much more of this I can take. I may be walking away from the Jackets and the NHL for a while. It's just not fun.

can’t believe I just spent that much time making that original post on such a sad team lol.

It is entertainment, a product. When it ceases to be a good product or entertaining, just pick another team to follow.

At a time when the values of professional hockey teams are starting to be measured in the billions, the loyalty of a single fan is horrendously overrated.

There is no real honor in being loyal to a bad organization or lousy product; that's illusory, it's just self-abuse of a form.

Try being a Canucks fan. 50+ years of this crap and no end in sight. Oh and we were supposed to be competitive this year, making it way worse.

this. plus his skating is atrocious. needs tons of work in that department.

IMO they should try to trade Korpisalo for a pick, let Merzlikins and Tarasov tandem and battle for starts. Try demoting Sillinger to the AHL and see if Kent Johnson works at center. Move Nyquist and Gavrikov either now or at the deadline. Try to find a team that will give you good value for Boqvist between now and next season.

They sucked defensively last year and their solution was to sign Johnny Gaudreau and Gudbranson. What did people expect?

Love Gaudreau and I get why they made the signing but anyone thinking he was going to come in and change that team needs to watch the Oilers lol.

But I've been told last season that Johnny Gaudreau is amazing defensively, that's what his +/- shows...

Pretty much what I've been saying all summer long.

Those two players aren't going to change the identity of the team, or help that much with the existing problems. It's still a team that's waiting for all the young guys to get better to really know what they have, and time will tell how those pan out.
