We need to get z out of here, he will be a bad influence with his attitude problems. :sarcasm:

Edit: but that's awesome of him, I remember one time I was interviewing Adam Devine (the guy from pitch perfect) and Jerrod Nieman back to back and the same thing happened. It was a life saver they said yes. I would have been dead with my chief lol
I love Adam Devine from workaholics. Also OCC alumni lol

Maybe it's just me because I don't want our star player to get hurt, but it feels like Leo puts himself in dangerous positions sometimes. Not every game, but not uncommon for him to be in a position where he could get hurt IF the opponent decided they wanted to punish him.

Like the hit that hurt him. I think it was kind of dirty and unnecessary, but he should be bracing for that. He didn't expect it at all. Idk anything about the Swedish league, but is it a case of where he wouldn't need to worry about getting finished in those positions in that league? So he doesn't even consider it.

I agree. Same thing with the play on that great pass he made to Z on Monday where Z hit the post. Almost took a knee there too

True, but that’s also simply not a hit that is often made in the NHL. When was the last time you saw a player get blasted into their own net on a play like that? Aside from the danger/unnecessary aspects, it’s an automatic penalty if you hit the guy into their own goalkeeper.

Leo plays like he still hasn’t figured out that he’s not playing against kids that he’s bigger than yet.

Front office is terrible with releasing details about injuries, just finding out if it's upper body or lower body is a miracle sometimes.

leo made the team sweden four nations cup roster

Saw a mockup roster with him on a line with Kempe and Wild Bill. That would be a sick line.

As much as I hate Kempe, it would be nice to see Leo play with somebody who can actually score.

Was diving into some stats this morning - this season, Killorn is on track to take the fewest shots of his career (minus his first season with only 38GP) and on track for the most giveaways of his career. It is maddening to see him with Leo.

Have to admit, I'm getting a little worried about Carlsson.

Assuming his injury last month was a concussion (which I feel like there's a pretty decent chance it was), this is a potential third concussion and he's not even 20 yet.

Let's pump the brakes here... We have no idea if he is actually hurt

Why would he not be out there? Even if he was getting punished....he'd still be on the bench.
Nah, your star player breaking his stick on the boards and getting a penalty for it on a 5on3 is absolutely "go to the locker room and think about it" punishment territory, if that's the kind of coach you are.

And Cronin has shown that's the kind of coach he is.

Can you provide any examples of this happening in the NHL in the last few years? Genuinely curious, because it's f***ing terrible coaching.

Well he was hurt initially, or at least being evaluated for a cut on his face. Otherwise he would have to be in the box.

So it's not a normal situation
