You have me confused with someone else. I don't have lemons surviving on my eyes.

That's a bit much. No need to resort to violence.
Hard to see from the clips, I will watch the prospect game once it's online but it looks like he has pretty good change of directions and first step, especially when hounding the puck. This is best case scenario for him because most of what makes a player effective is how quick they get to the holes or get on players, it's just that it often correlates with long speed.
That’s really insightful stuff. Hopefully the team sees it as well. His posture seems to be the problem and what is hindering his speed, when you watch him live you can really see him bend his torso forward too much at the hip.
How fixable this is depends on why it’s happening. He probably can be helped with coaching combined kinesiology.
Some people have more limited flexibility at the hips and ankles though and that could be what’s limiting him.
He seems quick (particularly vs these players) because he’s processing the game quickly and he pushes himself partly by force of will.
He shows the signs of a kid who would work hard at improving his skating, I definitely have optimism after seeing him. He has some fire in his belly and real skill and they weren’t kidding about the hockey sense.
There’s some work to do though and our team needs to step up on the player development end.
So there's a clean-living lemon and a hehehehe...dirty lemon.

Watched the game when made my work in the same moment. That you and @RememberTheName for your marks. His posture seems to be the problem and what is hindering his speed, when you watch him live you can really see him bend his torso forward too much at the hip.

My apologies for even noticing your original comment about the lemons. It was supposed to be a bit of fun but somehow it went way off the rails.Meme got out of control.

I like it. Much more, than my misprint when I tried to say "thanks" to Guttersniped but typed "that". Stupid hands/autocorrection.My apologies for even noticing your original comment about the lemons. It was supposed to be a bit of fun but somehow it went way off the rails.
That clean lemon isn't fooling anybody.
