Stairway To Heaven
He will have over a week to heal after Friday's game. There's no way Kreider is 100% when he's playing 13 minutes at even strength.

And then we wonder why the kids go long stretches playing visibly with zero confidence. Also, they're going to need that experience to grow as players. Being able to close out games only comes after having done it. Imagine a game where you have a line that is dominating the entire game and you have a chance to let them rise up and carry this team to a win, and instead of believing in them, you show them zero trust? f***in gut punch for our kids.
Gallant simply doesn't trust the Kid Line to help hold a lead in third periods. But sometimes, the best defense is possession for 2DAMN MINUTES in the offensive zone, Gerard. I hope you're reading this.
Plus the game fell apart when he shortened the bench. He doesn’t trust them yet we’re one of the worst teams in the league at holding third period leads. So his beloved vets certainly aren’t getting it done
I officially hate Panarin.
The guy has a .635 winning % since he has been here. He is going nowhere unless they have a really bad showing in the playoffs.
Cant get over how bad Kreider was. Someone needs to pour water over his head to see if he is actually awake.
Good teams lose that way more often than you think. They just don’t lose like that often.Feels like a loss that a lesser team takes. Couldn't hold a 1 goal lead against a good team on the road.
The type of game a bad team losses
It’s hard to take the “Gallant just rolls the lines, so being the 1st line or the 3rd line doesn’t matter. Stop crying. They’re going to get the same ice time as everyone else” narrative seriously. Because it’s never true. It's hard to take the 'the kids should have played more' narrative to heart because it's said every game. Boy who cried wolf syndrome. We're supposed to take it to heart today because they were balling?
I'll answer: nobody.
Trotz wants a break imo and Boudreau is just another retread that everyone will hate when he starts in with his own habits.
It's not happening mid-season.
If you want to argue we should bring in a coach that requires a more consistent effort from guys like Panarin, I'm not saying you're wrong.
He certainly can and he will at the deadline.Drury looked annoyed. His team isn’t good enough and there isn't much he can do. Too much money.
Then he should stay home, we have Kravstov sitting, he could jump in until Kreider is healthy.Think he’s still pretty hurt.
No one rushes guys back from injury like the Rangers do.
It is beyond annoying. The one line that was going tonight. why the F are we sitting them late in the game. just dumb coaching decisions.I just don’t understand why the kid line gets basically demoted in the third. They were dominating the game every time they were on the ice while other lines were struggling.
Gallant loves to preach earning it and stuff but their play warranted them being the de facto first line tonight and instead we have to watch the other 2 lines turtle and eventually blow the lead in the third. What realistic explanation could there be for not running them out there every other shift in the third BESIDES their age? Them being young players is really the only thing because there certainly wasn’t anything on the ice tonight that should lead to that decision. This is why I don’t like lumping the kids together. They get sat late in games basicslly just because they’re kids. Tonight their play warranted them playing the most 5v5 minutes and heavy in the third but it didn’t happen. This has to be one of the most egregious examples of something like this all year from Gallant because they were literally dominating every shift they were out there. It’s not like we’re just mad they didn’t get more time for their development, they deserved more time bc their okay warranted it and it would’ve been the best thing for winning tonight’s game.
