Honestly might keep this 2nd like together and play then third line and have them feast on other teams
Hyman - Matthews - Marner
Foligno - Tavares - Mikheyev/Engvall/Anyone
Galchenyuk - Kerfoot - Nylander
Simmonds - Spezza - Thornton
Those three feel like they have something special and shouldn’t be broken up if they play like this

I was thinking along similar lines, but would offer

Tavares Mattews Marner
Galchenyuk Kerfoot Nylander
Mikheyev Engvall Hyman
Foligno Spezza Simmonds

1) Predicated on JT returning in full health
2) GKN continue to burn brightly

(All that said, I did like Brooks tonight)

I'm not one to trash talk but Habs suck, let's not rely on rush chances to win the next one. They need to impose themselves, sit Thornton, re-dress Sandin.

When Foligno gets back put him on the top line and move Hyman into a depth role

Foligno Matthews Marner
Galchenyuk Kerfoot Nylander
Mikheyev Engvall Hyman
Thornton Spezza Simmonds

Would like to keep Brooks in but Keefe won't take out one of the vintage boys.
yep, hyman hasnt been able to find his offense yet and i think its effecting that line..let him focus on what hes amazing at..wasting time in the offense zone lol

Are the Leafs an elite defensive team now? They sure look like it. I know people say the Habs don’t have any elite scoring, but they have Suzuki, Caufield, Taffoli, Anderson, Petry, Gallagher, they have scoring by committee. They Leafs cleared all rebounds, very few odd man rushes, shots against are usually under 30.
