Agreed.

it’s still nonsense though.

apologize when you’ve done something wrong. Otherwise you’ll never stop being asked to apologize.

anyways...

leafs in 5!
Unfortunately it is the times we live in and I get why people view it as 'well I can say these words and not get fired or I can not apologize and be out on my ass, regardless if I am at fault or not"

Knocking on wood but the "Montreal has better depth" argument was always BS. Having a bunch of guys that could play on a good teams 2nd or 3rd line but no true first liners was always a recipe for disaster and just sounded like an excuse for the Habs' lack of elite talent. Their D is getting exposed too. "Big and tough" but can't move the puck for shit and the most that toughness has done is result in Matthews chuckling.

I'll never understand why the Leafs depth was just ignored compared to Montreal. I guess the media narrative has to be something so that's what they did. Like how Caufield has been bigged up all series, need something positive to say for Montreal.

They do have better depth...I mean, they are in a deep hole...:sarcasm:

Ron's issued an apology, let's move on from this.

It was a weird one though.

'i've done nothing wrong, however, i'm sorry'

'my comments were with regards to alcohol, however I did seek advice to LGBT... etc'

For me... maybe it was a misguided, off-the-cuff homosexual quip.

Personally, I don't think people should lose their jobs over a stupid mistake, it happens, it's life, people do and say stupid things all the time and the desire to punish those people to the point you destroy their lives is just... crazy.

But his statement to me screamed of that of someone who was making something up to cover the truth. Didn't seem genuine.

Whatever, tomorrow is a new day.

Spezza should go directly from playing to a job in the org when he decides to hang them up

I think it still should be discussed.

I have to be honest, my wife and I were talking about this the other day. No doubt in my mind that is what happens.

I am not sure there has ever been a player more excited to be part of the organization... like ever! Love the love Spezza has for playing for our team.
