Good game all around.... team looked million times better than they did in game 1. If toronto plays like that the rest of the series i dont know that montreal has any answers.

Engvall/spezza were definitely a difference makers in the game, bringing energy and effort .... defense was great, powerplay was productive... and matthews/marner found the score sheet. Sandin had a much better game also.

Still expect a bit more from Foligno

What the hell man? What happened to the habs after the first? They just get on the bus and go back to siberia or whatever country they're from?

Honestly that was the worst challenge Ive ever seen. Leafs playing half the game with the man advantage and buzz cut gandalf hands them another one?

No wonder they had nothing.

Not something the Leafs should expect in game 3 but it was funny as hell in game 2.

Not sure what I’m more surprised by:

The number of PP chances the Leafs got compared to Montreal or the Leafs actually scoring 2 PP goals.

Much better all around game tonight, they seemed to settle their nerves down after the Spezza goal and didn’t look back.

Habs can’t handle Leafs speed.
Soup-Kerfoot-Engvall was such as pest line and they are as fast as any top line if not faster.
The PP clicking.
Campbell was solid.
AM and Willie were great.
Foligno and Simmonds were hitting.
Spezza and Jumbo were vintage.
Gally was good too.
Reilly was flying.
Marner needed to shoot.
Overall, it was a good game and to be honest, Habs got all the bounces in game one, they lack speed to catch up with the Leafs.

Engvall was really solid tonight, loved his compete level.

Overall it was a pretty easy win for the boys in blue.

Somebody has to drill into his head that he has to play like this all the time to stay in the lineup and be effective. He tends to get complacent and his play falls off after a while.

Leafs were very good for the majority of the game. Marner and Hyman need to be better and I think that’s what’s encouraging that those guys weren’t good and we still kinda of dominated. 2 PP goals is also very encouraging. I hope the beast has awakened.

Tonight was more of the Leafs team we saw about 90% of the time in the regular season.
