Love the win, but how many games now this season that the other team has more powerplays?! Refs are like clockwork against the Leafs.

Here’s a breakdown of the penalty numbers so far!

I wouldn’t say it’s a huge concern yet, but the fact it seems like we consistently get more penalties despite being one of the more clean/disciplined teams dating back years now is potentially alarming, especially if it keeps happening in the playoffs.

Loved the first period. The rest of the game had some definite issues. But the Leafs did manage to win. Both impressed that we are winning way more 1 goal games this year, but there is that slight concern that they can't seem to blow teams away and just cruise to a win. Still, better to win than not so it's fine .

The Tkachuk thing...is still hilarious. But I don't want to pay that much attention to that idiot.

Glad we got these wins and swept the Flames through this 2-game set. Now to move on and keep going for those wins.

Henny is a homer but Francis is on a whole other level with those rose coloured glasses. The bias with him is real.

Way too stressful but a win is a win is a win is a win. Coming out of Calgary with 4 points and giving them none is huge. Andersen was fantastic tonight.

And Tkachuk got what he deserved at the end. Loved seeing him pissed at the end. Get bent you rat.

Dominate first. Nothing to say about that. All 4 lines rolled and played so well.

Weird second. Calgary came back with speed and the Leafs started to get beat to the puck and in races. While the shot clock was tilted, Toronto had a number of high quality chances, mostly off the rush, that didn't register a shot. But Calgary did get a ton of pucks to the net. Freddy was great.

Missed the third. Sounds like it was more of the same as the second. Not surprised to see Calgary get the edge in PP's and tie it on a PP goal. Awesome to see Marner with the GWG and Matthews with an assist.

Matthews and Marner were flying last night .. JT and Willy were too, just couldn't find the net.. The third line had some moments (that first goal was really nice), and the fourth line was a nice refreshing boost.

Engvall is a sneaky good versatile player. Heck of a pass on Boyd's goal.

Depth scoring is key. Really happy to get 2 regulation wins in Calgary. Put them behind and keep the Leafs ahead of the pace.

Also, lol Muzzin. Tkachuk deserved it, and his tantrum was hilarious.
