Funny part is Tkachuk turns around to pick a fight and see Matthews.

Tkachuk not going after his Team America buddy and also not going after his London Knight buddy in Marner.

All three of them connected.

Lehtonen and Boyd both played like they deserve to play next game.

Anderson didnt really show me much. I thought he was extremely vanilla. I expected a more physical type of presence from him. I expect Spezza to come back and take his place

No it is not. I don't live there but I've been there.
I recommend going there for the out of towners, plenty of stuff to do there. Good waterpark, worked there till about 2016. Its not fun to work there after awhile, the mall gets pretty dull if you have to work there but as a person who lives in Edmonton I go there every now and then for shopping or movies.

Once you visit Whyte avenue and Jasper ave along with the mall. I recommend most people if they have time, book it for the mountains either Jasper or Banff.

Like Keefe showing faith in the 4th line by putting them out there up by a goal with 3 minutes left.

And of course they reward that risky decision by taking a Delay of Game penalty ...

Seriously, that line has some potential. Speed, good on the forecheck and may actually provide a goal or two every few games.
Yea I'm sorry, that's a terrible time for the 4th line to be out there, and I hope that mistake never happens again.

I thoroughly enjoyed Toronto's first period, felt that they were dominant, played exceptionally well defensively and clogged up the neutral zone. Some of it was due to bad playing from the Flames, but Toronto can play well if they put in the effort.

What I am not a fan of is their play in the second and third period. I realize that Calgary was undoubtedly going to put the pedal to he metal, but Toronto literally fell asleep. For huge chunks of the second period it looked as if Toronto was on extended penalty kills. They hung Andersen out to dry for the last two thirds of the game.

A dominant first period and fabulous offense is what sealed the deal for them.

Andersen's save percentage may have been crap tonight, but I felt he played quite well and kept them in it. The goals he did let in weren't his fault.

The icing on the cake was the victory, but the cherry on top? Watching Muzzin so nonchalantly tossing the puck at Keith Tkachuk at the very end of the game. The way it just went... thonk off his chest was hilarious.

The ensuing meltdown Tkachuk had was priceless. I will forget about the dismal second and third periods thanks to Muzzin causing Tkachuk to throw a temper tantrum. LOVED it and I love him.

Marner is magic this season and Matthews is back to 100%, as he looked sensational as well.

The journey to the W was ugly as sin minus the first period, but the win is the same at the end of the night. The next game is a clean slate, show up for the entire sixty minutes, put in the full effort. Don't sit back if you get the lead.

Love my Leafs.

Is the mall really that great?
My question to people that live in Toronto, do you think visiting the CN Tower is great or ever recommend it? I hate heights and I think thats one of the coolest buildings i've ever visited. Hell I think its just a cool building overall and I for whatever reason always have a tonne of pictures of it when I go on trips. I like the new lighting they added at night. Always wanted to see it shoot fireworks off in person.

To answer your question, yes its a great mall, as someone who lives here though I get tired of it, just like i'm sure some people from Toronto think of CN Tower

Also....no idea how Pierre Engvall didnt make the team from the very start. The dude is a sneaky good player. His IQ with the Puck is off the charts. He's a lowkey good passer.
I think with Engvall is that he has a tendency to have massive, random blunders at times. I think that's how he ended up in the dog house. Hes a skilled guy with size and skating ability. He just needs to cut out those hiccups.

It is overpriced, but pretty cool, especially the glass elevator.

Before people get on them for that 2nd period...

8 games in 13 nights

No training camp

No pre-season games.

Their legs are feeling it

oh crap,,,i had no idea at all,,,,,,,,,,,, that the other teams had training camps and pre-season games

Way too stressful but a win is a win is a win is a win. Coming out of Calgary with 4 points and giving them none is huge. Andersen was fantastic tonight.

And Tkachuk got what he deserved at the end. Loved seeing him pissed at the end. Get bent you rat.

Quick.......somebody call the Waaaaaaaambulance.....

Ok I was mad there was no push back for Tkachuk on Campbell, but that will do. Seeing Tkachuk slam the gate on the way out was a thing of beauty.
lol,,you think this is over?

one of our tough vets will do the deed

when it best suits us

it's not like the turtle will ever drop them first
