Post-Game Talk: Leafs win 4-1

Puck pressure, but not a lot of scoring chances.

Kept them to the outside and cleared the net well.
 
A bit sketchy but overall nice D kept them outside. When that failed Stolie was very solid. Luv'd the line from the play by play guy... "he has been a wall tonight, and by that I mean not Joseph Wolll but very good" lol.

Thought Dewar had a solid game.
Grebs is surprisingly gritty and loves to crash the net.

It feels like our overall battle level and intensity has increased compared to previous seasons.

Not trying to be contrary, but outplayed? More like Chicago played their normal game and the Leafs for the most part were barely above practice intensity.

Eh i thought Nylander was disinterested and Matthews was just ineffective.

That line got hemmed in just felt like after two zip they shut it down knowing how ridiculous the schedule is going to be.


Mitch and JT were solid though sans that dumb little drop pass and the pp shenanigans

I just meant from a shots, scoring chances, high danger chances etc standpoint that we got outplayed.
 
Put a weak team to bed, no fuss, no muss. Kind of game where we didn't outright goalie them, but Stolarz was our best player. Solid two points, on to the next one.

Minten is a player.

Yeah they were licking their asses right after the final whistle. Be nice if we had that type of homer support in the center of the universe.
