I mean the entire 2nd period was puck pressure in Leafs zone. They played good enough to win. Also, they have beaten good teams so statement probably not true.

Puck pressure, but not a lot of scoring chances.

Kept them to the outside and cleared the net well.

Pretty dull on TV too.

They did enough to beat a terrible team.

Really liked the defensive play in the home plate area, very solid and didn't give up many clean or second chances.

Some guys stood out, but no one was terrible which is more important probably.

Our goalies are now at .923 and .924 svp. That’s insane and definitely a sign of great defence.

A bit sketchy but overall nice D kept them outside. When that failed Stolie was very solid. Luv'd the line from the play by play guy... "he has been a wall tonight, and by that I mean not Joseph Wolll but very good" lol.

We got outplayed for alot of the game but Stolarz was good.
Minten producing is great to see and his development is a big storyline for this squad.
Thought Dewar had a solid game.
Grebs is surprisingly gritty and loves to crash the net.

It feels like our overall battle level and intensity has increased compared to previous seasons.

Not trying to be contrary, but outplayed? More like Chicago played their normal game and the Leafs for the most part were barely above practice intensity.

Minten making it hard to take him out and send him down

Eh i thought Nylander was disinterested and Matthews was just ineffective.

That line got hemmed in just felt like after two zip they shut it down knowing how ridiculous the schedule is going to be.


Mitch and JT were solid though sans that dumb little drop pass and the pp shenanigans

They've got some good kids in the pipeline, not a lot but enough to keep them competitive. Just think if "you know who" didnt waste a lot of the draft capitol drafting guys who now have jobs at the North Pole

Put a weak team to bed, no fuss, no muss. Kind of game where we didn't outright goalie them, but Stolarz was our best player. Solid two points, on to the next one.

Amazing what can happen when you actually keep your 2nd round picks. Knies and now Minten. If the Leafs are going to expand the contention window hitting on draft picks is going to be huge
