1st NHL game man, he didn't stand out bad either, Bogo played a little better each game since his 1st cut the guy some slackWe need to play Sandin! Lehtonen was underwhelming

(game) *Well, tonight is not Winnipeg at full power. Patrik Laine has been excellent for them this year (week).
Def has more jump and zip to himIs it my imagination or does Tavares look faster this year?
Yikes. Rielly has yet another solid game, and is under appreciated again on here. Muzzin has his 2nd or 3rd rough game of the season and no one talks about it.I know we won and all but Rielly has been very underwhelming so far this season. I'm starting to wonder that maybe finding him a partner isn't the issue but that he might be. He has all the tools but low iq and is a tire fire defensively
yep Otto, Bogo had a decent game tonight, the more confidence he gets and adapts to his new team and system better we hope he gets, he jumped in on a few plays, has a decent shot need his physical.I wish people weren't so quick to rip Bogosian. He is fine. No he will not win the Norris. Yes he will clear the net, make a first pass, kill penalties, and stop the cycle.
Strange how the GDT, Dubas and Keefe threads are suspiciously quite.
Guess the trolls went back under the bridge
Nobody is judging this team on the regular season
Maybe not after a regular season win, but they absolutely are after a regular season loss
This team will be judged by what they do in May, I have said for a long time this is either going to work and Dubas will get the credit or it's going and Dubas will get the blame.
Either way he will deserve it.

I like Jumbo. I think he's been really good. The 3rd line has been good as well, so I am afraid of messing with it.
Hyman with JT could make some sense but I'm not sure if they would mesh all that well.
Hyman - JT - Marner was arguably the best line in hockey in the 18-19 season.
Yeah for sure. The guy's playing his 1st game in the NHL. hardly got any shifts so couldn't get into a rythym ... not being noticeable is a very good thing under those circumstances!
Leaf Nation is the capital of hot takes for sure. Last night for example, Andresen allows one goal and people here lose their minds. Anyhow, I hated the way we lost to OTT but I said give them 5 games before saying anything, the season just started, a lot of new faces etc., it only makes sense. Looking a lot better last two games.
I also will judge this team mostly by how they play in the playoffs. It's not all on him though, it's also on the coach and most of all, the players.
Eh I think they both made it clear they wanted to play together.they only moved away from it because Matthews threw a fit about wanting to play with Marner.
Not true.they only moved away from it because Matthews threw a fit about wanting to play with Marner.
I think you just made that up. Is there any evidence of such a fit being thrown by Matthews?they only moved away from it because Matthews threw a fit about wanting to play with Marner.
Matthews laying out hits over the course of a playoff series is going to take its toll on the other team. Lindros was one of my favourite players due to his combination of skill + physicality and while I don't think Matthews will be as aggressive, it's imperative that he continues to be physical.
A 50-60 goal, 100+ point C that's defensively responsible, great at faceoffs and throws his body around? That player is in conversation with Mackinnon for 2nd best in the game imo.
