There was a chance late in the second for Willy that Grebenkin helped set up. I know his shot hit Pietrangelo in the face but I found it hilarious that Grebs knocked him down to the ice too afterwards so he could make a clean pass.

-Kadri in playoffs gets 5 game series suspension in similar plays only getting 1 game
-Lady Bing Matthews gets one game for a ghost play
-Reilly cross check to shoulder slides up into player is an extra 2 games than comparable.
-Mccabe fined 5000$ for a nothing play we see night in night out
-OEL with a simple backcheck. Fined. Another player... Nothing.
-Tonight was literally the Reaves play. 5 Games vs NONE.

But Parros and DOPS have sticky drizzle from Bettman's joie de vivre.

Grebenkin is gonna be such a menace in the playoffs, a real beauty. I also love that his favorite player is Matthew Tkachuck and kinda plays like him.

At this stage it's hilarious how many times Leafs players have gone into concussion protocols while the other team doesn't even get a penalty on the play because it was a "hockey play". I stopped watching hockey and really just look at highlights now as this league is clearly rigged in favour of some teams and against others. Just came to comment here after I saw the hit. Nice to see nothing has changed with Bettman's NHL.

So guys, this looks like a team that’s playing the way you have to to win games in the playoffs…fast, gritty hockey mixed in with skill. What’s changed?

Was it the defence? The goaltending? The coaching? The manager? The wrong mix of players? The philosophy? All of the above?

All I know is that I like the fast, gritty, hard hitting, North-south hockey we’re seeing.

Perfect road first period lol.

Minten is a big boy. Moves well.

Woll with a great save on Karlsson.

Ridiculous call on the Whitecloud penalty. Very Leafy. Disgusting that was called a clean hit. Jumped, elbow, contact to the head. Clean. f*** you.

Heavily outshot halfway through the game, but not giving up grade A chances. Everything is being challenged! Woll making big save after big save! Loving it!

Loving the feist-fest! Have to say, Barbashev is a fckn good player.

Early returns, but I think Grebenkin is what everyone wants Robertson to be. Spoiler, he is not, and never will be. Don't know if it was adrenaline, but Grebenkin can play on this team now imo. Yes, it's one game but this guy is strong and spicy!

Um, so PP is not terrible now? Good good, yes.

What a great third period. Wow! Memories of Burns and Quinn teams floating in my head. That was unreal. So impressive start to finish.

Robertson was meh, again. Totally outplayed by Minten and Greyebenkin (Maybe Steeves too + everyone else). Really feel if we can trade him for anything, now is the time. Doubt there is much interest. Maybe recency bias.

Holmboy had a good game. Rewarded with the empty netter.

Disappointed no one too a run at Whitecloud. Crowd was awesome, especially after that hit.

Gritty gritty win Ecstatic with that effort. Expectations starting to grow...
