Loved their jam and they actually kept their foot on the Knights throats in the third..

Congrats to Woll on the shutout, hell of a game to play like that. Hopefully he can stay healthy, and play to this level. With Stolarz excelling, and Woll rounding into form, this could be a great tandem.
Absolutely loved that Minten first goal, and loved the smile and how thrilled he was. Benoit played very well tonight, as did Lorentz. I liked what Grebenkin brought to the table as well.
Nice effort by Holmberg on the third goal, but he's still giving the puck up too much, and accomplishing too little. Robertson... buddy, good luck in your next gig.
It's one game.. but I'd much rather have Minten and Grebenkin, than Holmberg and Robertson... if this game is any indication.
We played a great defensive game, we cycled the puck, we were physical and stood up for each other... that's a big change over past teams.
Edit... I have so mention Dewar had a nice game too, and really Steeves played well. Of course, Marner, Nylander and Tavares had good games as well.

I love that we are winning these grinding games. We are building a tough winning culture early and not waiting until March to flip that switch
I can't remember the last time I felt comfortable with having either of our goaltenders in the net, and feeling we had the better of the two on ice. What a luxury! Great game Joseph Woll.

If the season ended tonight we would be playing the Islanders... Can you imagine that fan base having to deal with Tavares in the playoffs? They would go nuts...

The big test for Greb and Minten in particular is playing like that game in and out. First game energy is one thing but the grind is hard.

Robertson is a nightmare out there. Small and slow out there, getting overpowered and at max work capacity just to make routine things happen. He doesn’t have a spot.
