ALL-TIME DRAFT 2025!
The draft will last 24 rounds. You must draft 2 goalies, 6 defensemen, 12 forwards, a coach, and 3 extra picks (reserves can be F or D).
1) The clock starts January 31st at Noon (EST).
2). Time Limits.
24 hrs for round 1
12 for round 2
10 for rounds 3-10
8 for 11-14
6 for 15-20
4 for rest.
One hour time window deduction for each skipped pick, with a minimum 4 hour clock guaranteed regardless of deductions.
3). TRADING IS ALLOWED
Trading Rules:
- Trading is to be reasonably fair and balanced and lopsided trades will need to be re-worked or dropped when multiple members object. Unless there is vocal displeasure with a deal, generally speaking we pass trades that get an OK from 3 veteran members.
- Each team may make up to THREE trades.
- Players CANNOT be traded.
- No more than 4 assets per team may be traded at a time.
- A submitted trade DOES NOT count towards one of your 3 trades unless it is vetoed and the reworked deal gets vetoed as well.
- Swapping all positions before the draft doesn't count as a "trade" for the purposes of the above rules.
- Trading while on the clock is allowed. However please try and not make a habit out of using the entirety of said clock round after round looking for a last minute deal specifically.
4). ADD/DROPS - At the conclusion of the draft, there will be a 7 day period for add/drops. All add/drops must be 1-for-1. Dropped players will NOT be eligible to be added by other teams.
5). Regular season rankings MUST BE VOTED ON by at least one GM per team. The penalty if not done is a potential lowering in the standings because each GM will rank his own team first. Co-GMs who both vote each get half a vote for the regular season rankings in their own division.
6). NO MENTIONING UNDRAFTED PLAYERS!!!
7). PM the next GM after you have made your pick. THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL!
