Kudos to Keefe for sending Willie out late in the 3rd and in OT. He could've benched him again after Nylander losing his man on Calgary's goal but I think he managed it well and we were all rewarded. The Leafs friggin' deserved that game.

These last two games from Barabanov has changed my opinion of him. Not sure what has changed, but he is effective... good even.

Vesey and the Gazelle can eff off... don't need them on this team. They bring practically nothing.

Marner's always hyped for this teammates. He was probably dead tired or frustrated with the game.

I don't think that was Willy's man. He collapsed down low to help because both D vacated the front of the net for some reason. Just got there a bit late but it was a bang bang play.

Tavares again rough during certain stretchs but also had some strong shifts.

Hutch was solid.

the thing with Tavares there's never been a game at least as a Leaf where you could actually say he was dogging it or floating

he gives er night in and night out, I'd be worried about him if he didn't, there's not a player that's ever had an NHL career he hasn't gone through a slump or two, this will pass

I thought JT has some his best shifts in a while when Marner was on his wing

He just does not mesh well with Nylander at all. Literally any other player on the team has more chemistry with Tavares than Willy does with him.

They also had Marner and JT on during the 4on4 where they looked good while Matthews was in the box, I assumed that's what Keefe was trying to recreate in OT.

He had Willy take the faceoff after the Marner/JT, but maybe it was because willy was on his strong side. I was wondering if he would do that before the OT started because of Matty's wrist, so maybe I'm just seeing confirmation bias, he could've done for other reasons.

Not only did Hutch play well tonight.. He looked like a legit NHL goalie. Now idk if that's a fluke but his positioning was great all night, he didn't have happy feet, and he didn't go for many swims if at all. Hopefully he can give us a couple more of those!

Man Rittich is a monster. It took 5 leafs in and around the crease hacking at the puck to be able to put one past him.

Feels AWESOME to get the win.
