Liljegren 2nd most ice time on D behind Rielly. He's pretty much regularly playing 20 mins and excelling in them. Not perfect but very solid. If he keeps it up, it might lower the quality or quantity of defenceman we want to add at that deadline

Good catch on the ice time. He was active tonight, in a good way. Actually thinking back I love his game tonight.

Question is, is this his consistent level? Hope so.

There is "respect" for an individual and there is doing whats best for the team. Ideally the two are in sync but when they aren't the latter must always take precedence.

Somethings gotta give eventually. He is a pending UFA too same with Brodie. Both ahve been below par IMO

The 3rd line still isn't great defensively with him on it and didn't look like they could score either
What is it good for? To skate around doing jack **** while the other guys catch there breath?

Robertson may lack defensively but at least in a game like that one his line has a chance of scoring in the 10 minutes its trusted with

To me, Holmberg can PK is a huge advantage over Robbie as that will allow guys like MM to be more fresh during 5v5.
I also think Robbie made the 3rd line more danger as he can snip like anyone in the top 6.

Steves or Abruzzie are far better all around players than Robertson, imo. All Robertson has is good junior stats...he's done shit in the pros besides getting injured.

Don’t agree but regardless holmberg shouldn’t replace Robertson on third line lw but he should be in on 4L next to kampf and bobby that lines a solid 4th line grind you down line

Once JT is off the cap, Leafs may get D and heck even a goalie then we will open up a hole at 2C.

He's a decent second pairing guy. Fell short of the hype, but I think he's just fine in a reduced role.

I like Liljegren but he needs more skating lessons. He's not fast enough, and he needs to fix that.

Basically the question should be: Do we wait till next season to make a huge play for the cup or should we do it this year at the TDL?

Robertson is scoring at close to half a point per game in the NHL. Holmberg couldn't do that in a wet dream and best of luck thinking Keefe isn't going to put MM out to PK every chance he gets

As crazy as a night as Dostal had -- .965 svp, Jones was virtually identical at .964 after everything was said and done.

I've done some team building on cap friendly and you can spend money on the top 6LW and 3C positions and make a sizable spend on defense whilst giving Nylander 11.5M

You do need to get rid of Reeves and Kampf though and not run a full 23 man roster
